Tbh I have stayed at someone's house after knowing them just two weeks. Not romantically btw and it was with her and her mom. It was my vacation and it just happened really. It was an awesome vacation. I also met up with my penpal in Sweden back in the day and that too was amazingly fun. Would I do it NOW? No... But when I was between 17 and 24 it was fun.
So I have lived in 7 countries (including the US) 2 in east Asia, 2 in the Middle East, 1 in Europe, and 1 in Africa. So I've 100% uprooted my life to live in VERY different cultures, and I don't behave even almost like her. She isn't adjusting or experiencing life, she's stuck.
