  • An original 1943 Dated No 36 Mills Bomb MKI end cap marked - TA&S - T. Ashead & Sons, Dudley, Worcestershire. APDP is the foundry maker - Alloy Pressure Die Products Ltd.
    The Green ring indicates - A green band around the middle originally indicated an Amatol filling (1915-1920s), while it later indicated a Baratol or Trotyl filling

    Good video. Thank you. Model 36 OR Model 36M?. The Model 36 was declared obsolete in 1932. The 36M-M for Mesopotamia-was the standard from then on. The 36M was specially waterproofed for Mesopotamia, the place where the RAF used up some of their post WWI surplus aircraft.
