My milk frother turns on as soon as I set it on the electric base. Is that supposed to happen? It's kind of annoying that I can't just leave it on the base when not in use because it remains on the entire time.

I am hosting a party at the moment and am thinking about getting this as a half off, or maybe free depending on how my party does. I typically use coffee creamers instead of milk in my coffee drinks. Do you think this frother will work with just straight coffee creamer instead of milk?

I haven't used creamers myself but from what I've read they don't foam as much as milk and/or heavy cream. I personally like a combo of 1% milk and some half and half. I would suggest using a combo of milk and your creamer then or just add a flavored syrup to your coffee and froth the milk without creamer. I think trial and error would be key to find what works for you!
