I have the M1 Ultra, but the print quality is lacking. I'd love to use it to cut stickers after printing, because cutting stickers on my Circuit or Silhouette is a nightmare with the registration marks. Any tips on how to print on a traditional printer then cut on the M1?

Great question. I would use the photo feature in the software. It allows you to take a picture of the material (your printed sticker sheet) in the M1 using XCS on your phone, then connecting it to the computer you are using. This should allow you to place cut lines for your stickers with high accuracy. The first time I used the photo feature it took me a few tries to figure it out, but once I got it down it's quite easy.

I was coming here to ask the same question. My husband and I just got one and were figuring it out! I THOUGHT that this would be the way to do it, since a regular printer seems to be a bit better in quality! But I would love to use the M1 Ultra to do the kiss cuts!

Hello, can you print from your computer and have the M1 cut them? Id love a tutorial please or tips. I just got the machine but I have not received the printer stuff yet.

Yes you can but I'm not sure how accurate it would be. You'd have to use the snapshot feature on the sticker page to tell the machine where to cut.

At 11:14 in the video you used a tool to remove the paper from the mat. What is that tool?

That is a scraper from Cricut. It's a great way to pick up material off a mat without it curling. This and other Cricut like tools can be found at Dollar tree too!

HI, please could you tell me which software does the machine use to design or send the file to it?
Could I design in my silhouette business studio and then cut in that machine on video?

I use XCS - xTool Creative Space to operate the machine. You can import all kinds of files, PNG SVG and many more. Lots of people design in Silhouette Studio then import into XCS to print and cut.

Hi I bought the xTool M1 Ultra but I am not happy with the print, it looks very grainy, my Epson is much more better. Do you have the same problem? I used settings: Intensity 80, speed 80

It's a decent printer, but not great. I get more a little more vibrant color with my Canon printer. However, I like the ease of printing and cutting in one pass with this.

It is pretty amazing, but I agree I would have loved some other ink options.

It is refillable. Found on Ali express. Not sure of the name sorry. I seen it on an Aussie guys UA-cam video of this machine
