This bible is amazing, I’ve had mine for a few years, its a super chunky with all my notes, stickers etc. its my favorite bible. I have many bibles, also you can find new great bibles at the good will for just a couple of dollars. I have found many and most are New. Tfs 😊
The KJV was originally published in 1611, and English has come quite a way since then. I'm not sure how far Spanish evolved since the original publication of the Reina-Valera around the same time, but people have at least updated it more than they did with the KJV (which, unfortunately, has become so sacrosanct to people that they can't accept the possibility of another translation being valid). I feel like a literal translation is easier to achieve in Spanish than English, because Spanish is still fairly close to Latin, and Latin is structurally similar to Greek.
i love the reina valera 1960 spanish is my first language and it’s very easy for me to read but i’m glad i can do both. it’s challenging but it helps me to really absorb!
The modern bible that is MOST like the King James Bible is actually the MEV (Modern English Version) and the New King James is more different because it used different manuscripts. If you don't feel comfortable with the King James but would like a bible as a standard to compare with, the MEV is pretty good with more modern wording.
I also love reading my Bible as well taking notes I have a Catholic life Bible and a new King James journaling bible can I write it with a BIC Round Stic M Pen ❤🙏
i’m a NKJV girly. it was hard for me to get into this translation truthfully but i always suggest reading any translations accompanied with the NKJV/KJV.
i think it’s a great beginners bible to introduce a study bible. i think it has a lot of great study material but i understand what you mean, thank you for your input.

it will throw me way off if it’s not in a font i like 😭
@@emmalyy__it's true though. Front and page layout makes a huge difference for readability.
@@openlybookish And this is why I'm glad that Holman, Tyndale, and Nelson/Zondervan work with 2K Denmark, because they make good Bible fonts.
@@fnjesusfreak they sure do. 😁
Wanted to love this Bible but it’s missing so many verses and chapters.

This Bible is a devotional version, not a study Bible. It does have a view tools like timelines and maps, but it is primarily devotional.
