I remember you didn’t like La baguette, but I loved it, one of my favourites in 2024. Glad to see you came back to it and the same goes for Zouzou. Chamomile Satin is also a good one.
When I got Carbone, I was immediately reminded of Histoires de Parfum Not a Blue Bottle 1.2. Oddly enough, I’ve never had a sample of Guidance but tried it in ZGO. Guidance reminded me of Not a blue bottle 1.2! Totally see a common DNA in all.
Hahaha 😂 I knew you gonna like Sel d’Ambre and was waiting for your impressions. This is naughtiness in a bottle, totally stands out. Masterpiece💗 I got it right away❣️
Several here that I really need to get my nose on. I'm most interested in Black Lacquer, Sel D'Ambre, and Encens Precieux. Will have to move them to the top of my must try list for early 2025. Thanks for sharing!
I was scared a bit that Black Lacquer wasnt included on your list lol. I am pleasantlyy surprised by how much I liked it when I smelled it at Sephora, if it hits the CCO at some point, will def pick it up. TF's best offering this year imo. Zouzou is amazing, wish it could be found discunted but might have to bite bullet and get a full bottle
Happy New Year, Sebastian! Thank you for being part of my life with your daily videos full of precious information! You deserve at least 1M subscribers!💯💯💯
In this group Camomille Satin appeals to me the most. I tend to stay away from anything that is just a skin scent, since I like a strong presence and can't afford to overspray to get it. Until I have all the niche fragrances on my current list, I will probably wait on the designers. That said, the old actual full strength perfumes I have (Joy, Bal a Versailles, Shalimar) do seem potent and that leads me to believe EDPs (much less EDTs) are the problem. Hoping the extraits will be a good compromise.
Happy New Year, Sebastian! I thought you would rush release your video review of Dior Homme Parfum 2025 aka Dior Homme More Intense as per a few reviewers.
Happy New Year Sebastian! Great luxury designer house line up! Dries Van Noten’s camomile satin! Sounds super “sexy” great content as always. Keep up the great work in 2025! Thanks for all you do!
Balmain’s Sel D’Ambre is just difficult. Not your typical amber for sure. Quite unpleasant actually. Get a sample first. On the other hand Carbone is the best one in the lineup. Cumin note in Carbone is quite prominent so be careful.
Would you say Camomile Satin is a green vanilla? I don’t like Angelique Noir on me (it’s beautiful in the air) and Chloe’s Vanilla Planifolia had something a little off to my nose. Camomile Satin sounds like something I might like but I’m worried about some of the reviews calling it a “green” vanilla.
It's more like the green grass has dried and become like grassy hay sort of. But not a green vanilla much to me. Like there's an herbal grassy quality rather than green grass. Hope that makes sense.
I don’t remember enjoying that one I’ll have to circle back to it. That was from the initial launch of the brand and their fragrances and the only one I have from that batch is the the cannabis one with patchouly I think forgetting the name.
The popularity of oud has boomed over the last 15 years, with a 173.9% year-on-year growth in oud as a fragrance trend in 2024, so to say the oud craze has died down....
OK, you might wanna give us a reason why it was the worst but I don’t know your taste level how much experience you have with Niche Perfumery are you a designer person? Is it too smoky for you? Why is it one of your worst buys of 2024? Was it a blind by did you know it was bad and you still bought it and it became worse

Hi can you sell 1 of your Dior Homme Parfum OG?? You have to ship to Dubai
Vanilla Planifolia Extrait 21 by Guerlain was my standout. Not sure if it launched in 2024, but that's when it landed in Dubai.
I remember you didn’t like La baguette, but I loved it, one of my favourites in 2024. Glad to see you came back to it and the same goes for Zouzou. Chamomile Satin is also a good one.
It's gorgeous! Sometimes fragrances take some time to come back to! :)

Happy New Year and thank you for the new layering suggestions! I probably won't be reaching for any Dior this year 😅

Hmm I’m interested in that Chamomille Satin, have to sample it.

Balmain is back yaaaaay. "Ambre gris" is one of the nicest perfumes that I owned. Sadly it's been discontinued.
Thank you for the review! I should try Fendi La Baguette, it sounds great
Nice list, just missed the fragrance of the year, Portofino 97 by Victoria Beckham 😮💨❤️

I haven’t tested much from dries van noten, just soie malaquais, i really liked it! I wonder what you think about it Sebastián?
I don’t remember enjoying that one I’ll have to circle back to it. That was from the initial launch of the brand and their fragrances and the only one I have from that batch is the the cannabis one with patchouly I think forgetting the name.
@ thank you so much! Happy New year all the way from 🇦🇷
Have you picked up the new Dior dhp yet?
Waiting on it.
Hermes Paddock isn’t launched yet I guess. Can’t find it on the market anywhere.
Dior is making a Creed move. Creed stopped the 4oz. Bottles, pushed them down to 3.3, AND raised their already inflated prices.
Hi could you please review chypre exroadinare by roja?
The popularity of oud has boomed over the last 15 years, with a 173.9% year-on-year growth in oud as a fragrance trend in 2024, so to say the oud craze has died down....
There’s a difference between the growing plethora of notes being used and what people are actually talking about.
🙏🙏🙏
Meisterstück means Masterpiece
I said is before and I'll say it again. LV lovers is a killer. If I could only wear one, it'll be that one.
I didn’t like it
@@ThePerfumeGuy I agree its not very complex, but it is a crowd pleaser and I always get complements when I wear it.
I even can smell Vanilla Sex from you Sebastian and I am in the UK. 🇬🇧 Happy New year to you
Ha! Happy New Year!!
more tom ford reviews
🌹
Casa Grande better..
We going broke with this one
What a great review! Thank you @theperfumeguy!
Designers 20 years ago smelled more niche than the upper lines of this year...what a shame where perfumery is going...
People make the decisions with their wallets and the designers adapt. 😀
Curious to know your thoughts on RL Earth Sandalwood - is Polo Oud a better purchase for fall?
Black Meisterstueck is in my top 3 worst buys of 2024.

Thank you for the review! I should try Fendi La Baguette, it sounds great.
