They are GORGEOUS. Yes doing a live sounds great. I love all those colors and yes that is the way it goes so that it will hold the other coasters. Oh and no your videos are not to long so stop complaining that they are to long. I love watching your videos and your glitter colors are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. There are a few of them I want to get. Thanks for the video.
I love these coasters!Thank you, Michelle for using YOUR glitters in a project. It is SO much easier to see what they look like in a project than on the eBay page! Where did you get the jars you put them in? 😊
I agree sometimes I wish some of you creators were live.😄 I'd leave the lines as is. The mica color looks great as is. Love the glittery colors. ❤ Was it long? Didn’t notice. 😅 Just went to the molds and shapes site. Kintsugi is supposed to be an art form where gold pigment and glue is used to repair broken pottery or dishes. Not necessarily to be used as to be displayed.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I started to write what it's all about. Then decided you really didn't need me to leave a novella for a comment. 😅 I had to take the homeschool mom and lock her in the closet. 😂
Your silicone mat is on top of the heating mat where the wire connects (look to the right). I saw Steve McDonald cut his silicone mat so it would lay completely flat. That’s what I’m going to do before I use mine again.
Kintsugi is an art form of repairing the broken (usually a bowl) using Lacquer with gold. It is a Japanese art form. The design of your mold is Kintsugi, so the fractures could be filled with gold paint or gold leaf...They could've been backed with a gold mica resin....to get the traditional look. Yours are beautiful! You said you were not sure of the fractures....so here you go. 🥰
Michelle, the coaters are BEAUTIFUL! You did a marvelous job...but, but question is..may I ask about the mould you used for the pendants and the bevels you used?
It’s my casting resin that has pumps so you don’t have to pour it if you don’t want to. Click on the link in the description and it will bring it up for you to check out 😊
Maybe it's just me, but the area where they all join in the middle looks like they could be like a puzzle and make one giant coaster tray. Came out great regardless. 🙂
Beautiful colours + that mold is another one to add to the list, I went on their site last WK but need to wait for payday to order - soooo many to choose 💙💙💙
Those are the Kintsugi molds. From the Japanese; supposed to mimic a piece of china that broke & the lines represent the glued back together look. And yes that’s how the feet go in the coaster holder & yes you do put some glue in there to hold them. I believe LiaDia Designs has done them in the Japanese way & also Petra Gerbracht. Your version is very nice & sparkly! Probably should have done the silver as the 2nd coat instead of in the mold. Silver lines would have POPPED between the blues/greens.
I love that mold too… havnt purchased it yet though. Ideas are endless… I saw someone once take a syringe and fill the cracks with gold or silver… I bet marbleized would be super pretty with metallic cracks!
These are so pretty. Yes, glue the legs in. This is a Kintsugi mold. Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese method of joining broken china together. I have this mold and I think it’s my absolute favourite 💚🇦🇺
Beautiful! Love the blues. This is one of my favourite M&S molds. You need to glue/UV resin the feet in the holder. I don't have the holder (couldn't afford both) but have watched petra and others with it. As it's kintsugi the idea is the pieces are glued together with gold.
Yes the kintsugi mold…I love it too…I have it…you put the stand together correct and I do use gorilla glue…yours are beautiful got me pulling mine out to do again!!! Thank you❤️
These colors are so gorgeous. !! The coasters came out absolutely STUNNING !!! As I’m writing this I’m thinking of different colors that you could use-oh my so many !! What a wonderful project you did !! Thank you Michelle ❤
Absolutely gorgeous I can't help but think that the veining look really pretty with like a solid turquoise color if you were to fill them in even just the way they are though absolutely gorgeously stunning
I’m currently watching and about halfway through, so I may make a couple of comments. First, I would ABSOLUTELY love it if you did a live again, and even better if you did a live demo. Don will have to help because I’m sure you’ll get lots of questions. Second, those blues are AMAZING!❤❤❤
Stunning! You used all my favorite colors. Every color you used I would say oooo that’s my favorite. 😂 Your glitters are gorgeous. That mold is fantastic.
❤ Michelle...I'm new to your channel and I have to say you are so fun and entertaining along with your other half lol ( Don ) You are not only fun but you have Talent running out of your ears ☺️..I personally can't do resen because of my disabilities...BUT could I still order from you later....I love everything you do here and this last one you did hear is Soooo beautiful... And your experiments are fun and mostly come out Amazing... sorry I'm so long in text but I had to let you know that I love you guys content...already I can't wait till the next one 🤣🤣🤣. Keep doing what you're doing...great great great teacher for us .( And to Don ) shhhh...don't tell him I said that 🤣 JJ..
Oh, another mold from this company Thani would love. These turned out gorgeous….if you were to use a different color from each color group (does that make sense?) it would look like stained glass. Just beautiful! Could you link the little heart mold? Thank you so much! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! ❤
They are gorgeous but you can fill the lines with zilver or gold or any color you want who match your design About the paws you can poor them a little bit higher not to high or just a drop of second glue gel on the small edges so they don’t fall of I have those molds to🤪 and make a lot of them. 🤪
I was thinking I was happy you liked something! Then, you at least admitted it! 😜 I love this mold too! Your choice of colors was spot on! But I can also see a gazillion of possibilities!
Hello, beautiful work I'm just curious I saw plastic glitter was banned in Australia are worried about that here? I love glitter so I would be sad what do you think about the biodegradable glitters? TIA
I would love to buy tons of your glitters, they're so beautiful but unfortunately the shipping to the UK is so high, almost as much as some of the products 😢

Where did you get the mold and the mixer from?
All the things on every video are linked in the description box so it's easy access to find.
What is pump resin?
It’s my casting resin that has pumps so you don’t have to pour it if you don’t want to. Click on the link in the description and it will bring it up for you to check out 😊
Stunning
Maybe it's just me, but the area where they all join in the middle looks like they could be like a puzzle and make one giant coaster tray. Came out great regardless. 🙂
Amazing colours.
Great coasters.
You could have gone with 1 silver so the chunky glitters could have been in all the coasters.
Beautiful colours + that mold is another one to add to the list, I went on their site last WK but need to wait for payday to order - soooo many to choose 💙💙💙
These coasters are SO beautiful 😍. Never seen anything like it. Unfortunately the molds are really pricey 😢 but gorgeous

Yes! I love the Kintsugi style! Michelle you should look it up! It’ll help them make more sense ❤🎉
Thank you Pamela ❤
I would have used a chameleon powder on the lines before I started pouring, I think that would be stunning ❤😊
Great idea!!
I love that mold too… havnt purchased it yet though. Ideas are endless… I saw someone once take a syringe and fill the cracks with gold or silver… I bet marbleized would be super pretty with metallic cracks!

Just ordered my own.❣️The solid blue is the bottom of the holder and you pulled the resin out. That’s why it’s so far off of the table.❤❤❤

Georgous. You made the right decision for the lines. Leaving them blank is perfect. If you filled over then, they would have just sat in the holes.

Yep that would work! Someone bought it already so It's a good thing I didn't glue it yet, fit nice and flat in the box.
Those are absolutely beautiful! Where can you find them to buy? They would make gorgeous tiles for a small table top or something.
The mold? It’s linked in the description.

Thank you! 😊
Can you use a clear resin after the mica powder and just set it over the candle upside down? See if the light shines through.
