@@boldanmark3096 I actually haven’t struggled that much against vexs as often as pantheons and vlads but I’m only like emerald 2 so maybe I haven’t ran into a good vex yet haha
Personally Vex and Yasuo are much worse than Vlad. I just try to not get poked by Vlad's suck. Poke after he uses his empowered ability on a minion with a simple double dagger combo then E out. If he blows pool, look for an all-in with ult ignite. Also minions can block his explosion.
@@therealzacharnold good vlad know that they don’t have to beat you in lane. They just outsustain you, get prio in lane and outscale you. If they don’t mess up in lane, your only option really to roam. He’s pretty hard for your jungler to gank too.
@@xdiv1nity That's true. There are quite a few Katarina matchups that are just farm, survive, and roam if you're not catching the laner in mistakes lol

I enjoyed the video and I learned a lot, as I see, you were playing very passive due to the matchup, I understand, you could get some kills later but I'd like to know what would you have done if that Trundle were like 6/2 at 15 minutes instead of 2/4.
I mean, most of the time when I play Katarina I cannot snowball the game properly because when I'm 3/1 any of the enemy team is like 9/3 imagine a Draven, master Yi or Trundle. Idk what to do in that cases: should I keep farming, or maybe roam to stop them? should I ignore them and split push if it is possible? and what about objectives if they are never alive to fight them?
I'm a silver player with so many questions and doubts so I will appreciate any answer. Best regards

okay, but what do you do when ur toplane is a squishy champion who is feeding a garen, and ur botlane is 0/8, their jungler and support is camping mid, while ur botlane loses 1v2 and ur jungler is AFK farming on a first-time champion. Enemy jungler gets all 4 drakes and u have 0 drakes, they have exhaust and flash up all game and will only use it on you. Their support clears all your vision mid and u are playing vs a counter matchup? because this happeneds literally ever single game and i can't get out of emerald. btw i also lose 32 lp and gain 18 lp with a 50%+ winrate. pleaase give me an answer to this.
they will also only buy MR - maw, force of nature, zhonya, banshees, wits end and guardian angel. when all ur teammates are AD, but useless. whats the play here? you can also not roam without losing tower or 3 waves because ur champ does not have pushing power vs the counter matchups especially when their jungler and support is clearing all vision and hovering mid all game.
hey, thx for the commentary, i'm still learning the game and I have a question. you backed at 3:24 and you didnt use tp to get back into lane, could you explain why u were saving that tp? i keep reading that tp on kat only comes into place around minute 14, is that so?
U want to use ur tp after minute five. It’s because u will get ur tp back for the second drake or other objects. Just try to count time. And to is always better than flash. It’s because u have so much mobility and it’s enough to play Kat with no flash if you can 1 v 5. I mean when you r getting enough experience in playing Kat you begin to play better with no flash. But to is always good. U can get more exp than ur opponent, u can win a team fight or just trade ur object for tower on top (if their toplaner is fighting for dragon for example). Tp is always better than flash.

Always ban Yasuo, you don't wanna play vs him. It's horrirific. Fizz is also really bad. I oftenly lose lane vs Zed an Akali also.
(Imo) I would also add Irelia as annoying opponent. Gladly she gets picked rarely

I struggle coming back to Katarina from playing top riven and yasuo and kinda forgot the way on how to play kata in lane. Do I just farm and try to look for poke in lane and random roams even if it means to drop farm?
try to farm the best you can and look for roam oppurtunities that will actually work, like diving enemy bot when theyre 20% hp, a lot of kat players fall too behind because they go for a lot of plays that have low success rate, kata can carry after lane phase if she is not too behind
@@wundrew okie okie. Should I ever even try to kill my laner in a mage match up ie ahri Ori syndra or is it better to stay consistent and just look for roam unless they are griefing really hard ie standing on my daggers Perma ect
i usually go for short trades with them using electrocute until theyre low enough to kill but you gotta be careful not to trade when enemy jg/sup is mia and also try not to lose too much hp before objectives like scuttle crab at 3:15 or dragons. conqueror is a bit different because you can all-in 100 to 0 but its higher risk and not as consistent, conq does scale well tho. i dont roam that much in higher elos but maybe in lower elo its good@@katama_1

Katarina is all about roaming. Only vs certain champs you will win the lane (Veigar, Velkoz, Lux, Oriana, Syndra..) but in most cases you just have to farm and try to do safe trades, then invade the jungle, roam botlane, toplane. Just move everywhere, you need to be in all the fights and get fed.
yo got a question i can always dominate lane but i can never actually win games though. i always do good and my team doesnt and i dont know how to carry. can u help fix this problem lol
use your lead to fight objectives, if u carry teamfights then ur team will also get fed off that and take plates/waves while their team is dead
