Scottish accordion tunes
Aye...Some more Scottish accordion music fae the Iron Broo Duo, based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The First tune is Canadian from Cape Breton, called "The Sweetness of Mary", a real beauty written by Joan MacDonald Boes. It's sometimes played differently as March, an Air or a Slow Strathspey, and I like it as an Air and occasionally pick it up into a Slow Strathspey.
The second tune is my accordion composition called 'The Humours of Barbara', and I will soon have the sheet music PDF available to download for free from my website's sheet music library at CharlieAbel.com.
I just realised I hadn't posted it before, so I'll write it out shortly and change this text once I have done it... :-)
The Humours of Barbara also appears in the recording of my song called "The Bad Tempered Woman."

I really like your interpretation of The Sweetness of Mary, Charlie. I often play it in a set along with another great Canadian tune, Glencoe Village Hall. Great playing from you and Fred once again.
