- My mom has heard me go on about the Orchidarium often enough now. She was visiting me in Switzerland, and decided that she had to see this place. So of course I bought myself some more orchids!

Now, I do love a good old fashioned golden shower, but the red one is sa dainty and gorgeously red, she's my favorite.

She does! It was fun to visit with her, she got really excited about some of the orchids. Yep the orchidarium didn't have a tag for it literally because they found the name to be too long... so they wrote it down on my receipt instead 😂

It really looks like a Howeara Lava Burst but those flowers are rounder, more bell shaped and the bulbs are no where near as plump (grows like a weed though)

The first one... never heard of it! The bloom looks like Howeara Lava Burst. What type of orchid is that? I need to put it in my wish list!
I placed the name on the video and the description of the video! It's a pretty long one... From memory: Meeshara Chian-Tzy "TC-Golden Chocolate" but check the description 😉
When I checked it seemed to be a very complex intergeneric from like four different genuses. I only recognised the genus oncidium 😂
Orchid Nerd so it is oncidium? The leaves didn’t look like it... more like miniature Encyclia... that’s why I was a bit confused... I guess I will google it!

Ur like a quarter oncidium? And Google it without the quotation marks, you'll find something

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get notified about your comment. I buy these orchids at the Orchidarium in Prangins, Switzerland. Unfortunately they do not sell online so you need to go in person!
