The problem is that social media makes it out to be simple , people get into it without knowing anything thinking it's easy money until they invest all this money on quality stuff and they end up going out of business due to lack of knowledge and the industry social media detailer that says they make 10k in a week mobile detailing
I started off with a ford mustang with a 35 gallon tank with a Home Depot ryiobi pressure washer and Walmart towels and cheap spray bottles and chemicals and washing 2-3 cars a day but you have to believe in your work ethic and hustle but more the less God 🙏now I’m Still Grinding car washes and all the above without worrying about the rest and social media
In all reality they’re mostly car washers, doing it for the gram not real business. Most of them fail within months spending on useless things each week like setups expensive products etc. when you build your reputation your brand is already known and your credibility is there you shouldn’t worry about nothing. Your the real one out there brotha! Stay in your own lane that “competition” is just noise ! More money for you in the long run when they start coming to you for high ticket services etc!
I'm in Miami and I get that oh I know someone that does it for 30$ so I tell them straight up we'll keep them cause I don't lower my prices for anyone , and honestly the beef and immaturity from all these detailers is a shame . Grown as people acting like fucking kids . I stay in my lane say what you say and keep moving and growing while they are still stuck in the same place
What I see is the lack of professionalism, lack of quality products. I see guys using lack luster products. If you’re washing a ceramic coated vehicle and you want that gloss, only use Carpro Reset. I’m starting my bus, but not mobile. I’m more focused on corrections and paint enforcement. That doesn’t work well with mobile detailing.
Honestly it's so saturated here In florida, I'm moving onto focusing in detailing boats as its less competition
