Yeah, I wish they had a version with just solid red lights and motion sensing brake lights in the back of the helmet. Maybe even some leds in the front. No need for the sounds. The turn signals are practically useless. If I was in a car and saw someone with this helmet signal, I wouldn't be able to tell which direction because it would just be a blinking red line...there's no context from other lights to let me know otherwise. Maybe with the solid red light in the center being always on, then the left or right signals would be more obvious. Either way, it's better just to have red blinking lights because that will catch motorists' attentions and then just signal with your arm or start leaning that way, it's much more clear to motorists.
The bideo of you riding in NYC had me so distracted, I had to go back and listen again. Either props for handling that street jungle or perhaps you're insane, can't decide. No mirror(s)? Perhaps you already have enough to manage.
Surely if there is any noise for turning, the standard "click" or a beep. To some extent haptic feedback would perhaps work better in a noisy environment and that would not cut across music playing etc..

This helmet is legit, I took a hard fall with this helmet and it took it like champ and all the lights still work

This is only an $89 helmet, if you want other features you can buy a more expensive one, for me this helmet has been perfectly adequate for my needs
Just use the light, and turn signals/disable the speakers for a 9/10 rating:)
Turning alerts make users safer.
Brother, this is a security product, he is not an electronic product, enough security on the line
