You can use a mixer/audio interface or if your TV has Bluetooth, buy a wireless audio transmitter and connect to one speaker and through output to the other.
Questions pls, I have a pair of 12s power loud speakers each 4 ohms. The amp is 2000 peak. Now can i replace those speakers with 8 ohms each .and by bringing those speakers trough out and in to the other one , does that causes less ,more or no chances because they r individuals power speakers.
Bluetooth to ts412 and with XLR cable to ts312 is it possible? I already have some ts312 and want to be able to use them as well. Nice channel, thanks.
Most likely, the speaker is 884 Watts RMS, the 2500 is the peak to peak rating, which is what you would call max. After that, the 1250 is the peak rating, which is half the sign wave and after doing the math. It comes out to 884 Watts R.M.S
Hi, I was already wondered about the 2500 watt...because of you use a mixer because you cant use a power mixer how can you achieve that 2500watts with a mixer...and peak power is only so many seconds!!!...and you cant pump that out of a mixer!...and the speaker can maybe handle a short term 2500watt...but you cant pump em up to 2500w...the power knop will go to 10 so to say...so full open...how much power in wattage wil it deliver?! Looks a bit???
They do advertise RMS? the plate amp anyway, the drivers are redcatts and oddly 2ohm for the mid/woofer and 4ohm for the compression driver crossed at 2khz. The actual drivers are rated at 400w and 30w.
Right on the RMS, it is on the product page 2500 W peak (1600 LF + 900 HF) 1250 W continuous RMS (800 LF + 450 HF), and I was thinking of the Subwoofers, not the tops when I said that. *but where did you get the info on the drivers?*
@@expertisland I have opened them up , done frequency sweeps, played with the dsp and find out that frequencies they boost, take spl readings ( I do this with all my kit and need to start filming it ).
@@FunkyDrumm3r so this is how you drive speakers ( more headroom from the amplifier that's driving the speakers). Alto tend to throw more than needed to the high frequency drivers probably just so they can state a higher wattage. More expensive speakers like FBT, RCF ect do the same but use higher quality drivers from companies like B&C with really high sensitivity so the volume gets really loud using less power. For instance I think the FBT promax high frequency compression driver uses a B&C rated at 60w RMS at 101db, at 8ohm with 200w RMS coming from the amplifier. The Altos now use redcatt speaker drivers which are pretty decent spec wise for a speaker at this price point.
@@expertisland sir Ts412 for me is costly, im thinking Tx308 350 watts if its ok for direct plug n play bass guitar... Jus for Band jaming purpose. Sir pliz tel me TX308 8inch can give a good bass sound in band jamming ???
hello sir, have you gotten in the TS12S subs yet? I ordered mine on january 17th and still not yet arrived, was wondering if its supply issue or its just the place i ordered from.. Thanks!
AWESOME and informative sound quality demo! I like the beats in your 15" demo better, but these all show SQ off too. THIS is how you review and DEMO gear! oh I hate all talk and no demo reviews! consider yourself *SUBBED!!!* (pun intended)
What happened to the days when the credible brands would list RMS, Program & Peak power ratings? DJs and Sound pros are not using these type speakers where RMS is relevant & Peak is not really useful in selecting...Their recommended Program power was the most useful metric. Then again, maybe they moved away from that, when integrating the class d amps? ...you are not needing the metric for matching speakers to amps, etc.
Your Right Managing Clipping is always a job when pushing this speaker dynamically over 90dBs There are lots of speakers Under $600.00 that have this issue alto is far from alone. I fix it with Subwoofer or More Speakers if needed.
@expertisland By even with subwoofer they were still clipping which is why I returned them the next day. Really sucked because I had high hopes for them. As you said that, you have to get more speakers. By that point you might as well just get yourself a good pair of speakers

I think a ltiblox will work for subwoofer but you have to put on mic instead of line ? Has anyone tried this?
Hi sir, I just ordered two of the ts408’s and an alto 8ch mixer. Will I use a pair of trs to xlr cable to connect the mixer to speakers? Also the mixer has Bluetooth and tv has Bluetooth so that should work to set up a karaoke set up? I’m new to this stuff! Thank you!!
You can use both TRS to TRS, and/or TRS to XLR Male.
@@expertisland thank you!
I am using an alto ts410 with an alto ts310. I can't get the Bluetooth function to turn off on the ts410. I had it off initially, then when I turned the speaker off when I turned it back on, the Bluetooth was on again. When I used the ts410 and ts310 together, the ts310 is much louder than the ts410, even if the volume knobs are the same position. Please help, lol.
same for mi with a TS415. compared with a frfr 108, this one sounds lauder than de 415. on the same lever. do you know if using the mic level is dangerous in any way?
Could you answer if the crossover would carry on out the output to an 312 then to sub as i have recently brought a 15s amd didnt realise its a newer model without the crossover on and now thinking of purchasing a ts412 to crossover for sub but still want to use the 312 ?
Please do a review of HK Audio speakers.
Is there a diffefent on this ts425 and the prvious ts315 woofer speaker? Or is it the same and all different is the amp controls, Bluetooth
Completely different redcatt drivers and frequency response
QSC k12.2 or alto TS412 which is best ?
altos more power..because the price alto..thats a biiig diference on price
How does it compare to the Mackie thump xt 1400w
These speakers out perform Mackie Thumps. I’ve used them for yrs but switched to Alto TS415, TS12 Sub, and just added TS408’s and those tiny boxes are amazing. Louder and clearer than my QSC CP12’s and CP8. @ half the cost to.
what is the name of the last song ? :)
I WANT TO USE A PAIR OF THESE FOR MY BACKYARD BUT WANT IT CONNECTED TO MY TV. IS THAT POSSIBLE ?
You can use a mixer/audio interface or if your TV has Bluetooth, buy a wireless audio transmitter and connect to one speaker and through output to the other.
I do it all the time. Just make sure on your TV you go to your volume setting and chose speaker out.
I will leave custom driver matching up to you. it is hard to say if it will sound better.
Bluetooth to ts412 and with XLR cable to ts312 is it possible?
I already have some ts312 and want to be able to use them as well. Nice channel, thanks.
As far as I understood at about 12:00 is that the BT signal on the TS4 is not being routed to the output XLR.
So that would be a "no".
@@Chris-yy7qcThanks.
Chris is right You can buy a Bluetooth total or Trade in your TS312 for 2 V3412 at Guitar Center 😜
@@expertisland It's a long way from Sweden..
Funny, So where would some go in Sweden for Audio Gear?
Is it really reliable compared to Jbl and other premium brands? Heard Alto’s reliability is far poor
I've had my Alto speakers for about 4 years now. And I can say they are extremely reliable.
no vents or fans to keep it cool>>>???
@@expertisland I have opened them up , done frequency sweeps, played with the dsp and find out that frequencies they boost, take spl readings ( I do this with all my kit and need to start filming it ).
if they are 400w and 30 watt rated, how can they pump out 800 lf and 450 hf watt RMS? where is the trick?
@@thereflexmobiledisco6700 For sure film it show all your work .
Sir, can i play bass guitar direct on any PA Active power speaker without mixer, Di,???
Yes, you can
You May or may not need a di box but you can play a bass guitar on the TS412
@@jthms_snapshots thankq
@@expertisland sir Ts412 for me is costly, im thinking Tx308 350 watts if its ok for direct plug n play bass guitar... Jus for Band jaming purpose. Sir pliz tel me TX308 8inch can give a good bass sound in band jamming ???

OK Robin. It's been 3+ years.and 8 phone calls. Still no video on how to program the. JBL srx815p...HELP!
You didnt figure this out yourself in 3+ years?
No Mam! I didn't!
@@DJDEEDetroit I don't think he has ever sold JBL Srx series. So he won't be familiar with them. Best to go where you bought them and ask them?
another site has the RMS of the TS18s at only 625watts...
the TS318s was 1000w RMS and 2000w peak. The TS218s was 625w RMS 1250w Peak.
hello sir, have you gotten in the TS12S subs yet? I ordered mine on january 17th and still not yet arrived, was wondering if its supply issue or its just the place i ordered from.. Thanks!
Very HOT Sellers, very popular all around the world, and from one Factory. Good for them, Bad for Me and You when out of Stock.
Hi please do a review on the EON 715, saludos im in chihuahua Mexico
I would Love to but, it is not in the Budget right Now it would be up to JBL to send over sample for test, reviewing and making how-to videos.
Eon 715 had great features its loud but lacked low end imo I sent it back and got a ts415
Thanks
Thank you.
Video is blank from 16:00 till the end. No audio no video
Thank you for letting me know fixed that Now.
It sucks when connecting subwoofer to it you just have to act like the bluetooth doesn't exist and use a separate audio mixer...
These look to be the same as the Alesis drum amp...
They are light, they are affordable, They look great the handles are in the right place, and they sound good. However they clip way too early
I didn't find this at all?
The eq can’t be adjusted in real time , you will be guessing at frequencies, then uploading . Useless as far as sweeping for problem frequencies.
Can't daisy chain a sub? Seriously? That seems crazy.
1250 RMS...nah i guess 400 RMS. 1250 will be the program
Alto does have RMS on their website now: 800LF+450HF=1250
Sound like crap on this end
ALTO DESTROYS QSC.
Yeah QSC is so overpriced. Turbosound IQ also blows away QSC, too😊
Hello iam looking at getting either the 12inch or 15inch with the Alto 15inch Sub. Which Speakers would be better to match the sub?
