How did the install go? Wondering if it would crack over time cause it's just plaster? I got asked to do one so looking for info!

Install goes well. I drill in the thickest part of the medallion long screw with a washer. I used an adhesive caulking spread across the flat part mounted into lath and floor joists .The other medallions I used a dryvit mesh in the first layer to keep it all together if it does crack. I have also used regular screen. Not for strength just to hold the cracked part up there if it were to crack. I have never seen one crack and when they are done they feel strong.
