The immersion in this ride is top notch, and they didn’t have to spend billions to make it, just pure Disney engineering and Walt Disney’s special personal touch and I love every minute of it, as a kid I liked new management and boy did that not age well, I’m glad the fans won with this one, this is a ride I go in to relax and avoid the crowds, it also feels like classic Polynesian resort , classic Disney magic right here

I'm pretty sure the fog machines in the centerpiece are the same ones that Uh-Oa used for her dramatic entrance. And the narrow shape of the one in Disneyland indicates that the Enchanted Fountain machinery takes up significantly less space than that animatronic. So they could bring it back, and also keep the fog machines, and have the best of both worlds.
I work Tiki Room in Disneyland, I personally love those sounds. These animatronics are much older so that's why, but if you have an appreciation for the age of the attraction it doesn't really bother people

I went to Disney in June of 2021 (the day they lifted mask requirements) and I didn’t even see this 😂 Someone mentioned it to me today and I thought it was in Disneyland and had closed in the 90s
