You can view a list of all of the requests I have yet to get to here: docs.google.co...
Oscilloscope visuals created with Maxim Zhao's SidWizPlus program.
Sometimes the triangle wave channel does some pretty funky stuff in this track, like it does some weird layering thing almost
Not sure if that's a higher than 60Hz- change in the triangle pitch, but that could certainly work in games with a good mapper in the cartridge to generate an interrupt at a fixed interval (which should be related in some way to the note), and then the code triggered in the interrupt can change the pitch of the triangle, essentially giving you a primitive form of FM (frquency modulation)
@@vuurniacsquarewave5091 Actually, I looked at the .FTM file, and it's just basically a 0xy command.

Corrscope pro tip: use a trigger width of 99 ms to stabilize the triangle wave at low frequencies.
You can keep the render width the same though.
It's not unstable. It's changing frequencies. The scope program begins to think it's simply noise at such low frequencies.
I don't know what they were doing with the triangle wave from 1:00 onwards but I'm pretty sure that's illegal
Its changing note faster then the FPS
400Hz NTSC engine speed, then you do an arpeggio to it. So that's called a ring modulation. I can do it in j0CC-FamiTracker.
The 2A03 NTSC has a maximum CPU clock rate that is 1.79MHz.
@@user-ql2re2es9y It's at 60Hz. It's just doing a 0C0 effect
@@user-ql2re2es9y Uhh yeah, sort of. It'd be ring modulation if you did that but with volume changes, e.g. a 400hz fast tremolo.
This is fabulous!
p nice
Can we get Metal Crusher next? I think it would sound best on the Atari PoKEY or TIA. They have good instrument options.
Are you asking for me to arrange a cover? If you are, I'm not taking requests for covers right now. Sorry about that.
@@acrouzet I didn't even know you did arrange covers. No worries though
That triangle wave after 1:06 is just fucking insane i love it so much
400hz modulated triangle.
@@detective_l2413 It's actually 60hz
8bit 2A03
its 4 bit
That's so cool
