I agree. Pray for the injustice against the poor. I was with Angus when we got together in Durban Rugby Stadium some 20 or more years ago. That prayer group starting with the 200 strong group on Angus's farm, grew to 40k a few years later.
Thank you Ben for this inspiring and eye opener to hear this true story from you. May you and your family be blessed and kept save for time to come. Every SA farmer should listen to what had happend to you and other farmers in Zimbabwe.Thank you. We can only keep praying for your safe keeping. ❤❤❤
Ignore the canary in mine at your own peril😢 Maybe this EWC Act will be the reset button in South Africa to take us back to sanity! Thank God we have the US taking notice.
Please please please let common sense prevail in our beautiful country in order for situations such as this incredibly brave man and his family ensured not too happen with us
Great interview and our thoughts and prayers are with Ben Freeth and his family and all ex Zim farmers in the same predicament. Rule of law must prevail over evil and I do hope South Africa will take note.
Read all Peter Godwin’s books. All about Zim and these atrocities too. Shocking. To think this could happen in SA. Thank you Ben for your bravery and sharing your story with us.
the decline is notably. we just got back from Zim its a very sad place you can see it great before you see the Huge succulants that farmers normally plant at there gates and around there houses you see it as you drive the soil arrat soil no soil management. people is just wanting to grab your cash there is no cash took me 2 days to get cash food is expensive just sad we had a route mapped out i could not handle the robbing army stops " toll gates" 15$ for a baked potato. you can feel vibes there whites is very clicky....... there is defnitly the haves you see eating 2 hour long lunches duscussing there looting bussines and the villiges were people suffering uneducated scoffeling through dust to get gold to refine to buy food for the day no electricty mozzies eating you alive the people is not good as long as the land is soaked with the blood they have shed if the people do not repent come to God. Army is still in controll nothing has changed if you go there you feel the undercurrent there racisim indiffrence. nothing can go on. needles to say we left we did not have a good time evrywhere you see evil. old homes now run by the new "owners" huanted by the past of what was and now present all crooked stollen i cannot stomich it.
This video was like listening to a horror movie with no good ending or any light in the tunnel. After everything they did to you, you still think you should cooperate. Zim allready happened here and ongoing, FARM MURDERS. God bless you❤
Great Great Chat and some very wise advise from Ben. If God is with you, who can be against you. Amen. It takes time and Faith but we need to build the foundations and not just accept. I hope we can register something similar with Trumpy via agriforum who have already done great work in this area. Mashvita Shamwari Ben. Alex always great as usual.
Great Interview. Tremendous bravery in a beautiful country ruined. Yes impunity is how Zim is these days. The majority of the people there are basically disabled - a liberation struggle turned ball and chain. Sad. We live in hope.
ANC doctrine and strategy, and they have told us this many times, is to advance the revolution incrementally. Advance until you hit resistance and then pause and regather, and then advance again. This Expropriation Act is just a step in that direction. It establishes the principle of state discretion over property. And from here future governments simply advance the limitations.
And now ...😢 I always read about people who went through all these terrible experiences...but never listened to people actually talking about the experiences. Ben does not sound bitter which is Amazing Thank God....a very strong person...Is Trump ill informed?????
Quick question. Isn't it the same way he feels about the land being stolen from him is the same way the people of Africa feel about the land being stolen from them as well. Which is the reason why all of this is happening right now.
This story is incredible and it highlights the capacity to endure. Making comparisons between Zimbabwe and South Africa is ridiculous... One of the big differences relates to the demographic and diversity of SA which is very different to that of Zimbabwe. In 2000, Agriculture was the biggest industry and generated the bulk of the foreign income. South Africa has a significant more robust and diverse with more significant global importance. Lastly, the constitution of Zimbabwe did not and still does not provide protection as the constitution has not been adjusted. As a person that was born in Zimbabwe and currently farm in South Africa I find the lies and fear-mongering that gets used to support false narratives.
For those who think we are headed the way of Zimbabwe, don't hold your breath. This is not Zim. After all is done, this country will be run by the original pioneers. Not only will South Africa be run by a Christian government, but Zimbabwe and all other countries bordering South Africa will become part of one nation.
In that "confiscation without renumeration" bill is not about land grabs - the legal word used is "property" that includes your home, car, business, bank accounts - including Bit coins... Maybe to have gold /silver hidden away would be a good idea
This chap lost me at praying like Angus Buchan. The trouble with Alec Hogg is that he loves interviewing but never really reads or studies the subjects he discusses much. Read the very recent and intelligent book ‘A Country of 2 Agricultures’ before making sweeping comments. This situation is highly complex and unique and we don’t need people who can’t be bothered to do research before commenting on such a crucial issue and simply follow Biz News click bait.
Well done Alec for having Ben on. This is what quality journalism looks like.
My respect to Ben Freeth and his family. SOUTH AFRICA... those whom have ears, you better listen and do the right thing, if not now.... when?
Oh I agree with you 100%
Thank you for not letting this situation slip under the radar Biznews!
Heart breaking and a wake up call for SA.-.Kudos to you Ben Freeth 🙏🙏
The man of faith can accomplish much. Thanks Alec for quality journalism.
What a remarkable man!
Brave man and family who survived this totally evil system by Robert Mugabe. Now Ramaphosa has passed another law exactly the same.
Africa reinventing the wheel
No it’s not exactly the same. Perhaps do a bit of reading before making a sweeping comment like this.
Thank you Alec for inviting Ben. Very inspirational and informative. Listen South Africa Listen!
So inspiring to see one of my countrymen fighting on for justice and Rule of Law in Zimbabwe, such faith!
Thank you Ben for your telling of your story. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤲🏽
What an eye opener thank you so much Biznews you guys rock 🙌🙏
Wonderful interview. Thank you Alec and Ben.
SOEE'S ALL GONE!! WATER AND INFRASTRUCTURE 99% GONE!!😢😢😢
An amazing man-Wow
Ben looks like Superman in disguise.

Such a pity Agri SA sees nothing wrong with EWC law. We as farmers reject Agri SA CEO, Johann Kotze's support for ANC goverment policies
God goes with you 🙏
Thank you Ben for this inspiring and eye opener to hear this true story from you. May you and your family be blessed and kept save for time to come. Every SA farmer should listen to what had happend to you and other farmers in Zimbabwe.Thank you. We can only keep praying for your safe keeping. ❤❤❤

I read Ben's book a few years ago. . .heartbreaking to know what these people went through
Wow...sorry no words salute
Thank you👏👏👋🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
The similar situations, We are open for business. Ramaphosa does exactly the same.....we must be ready. This path is so similar in SA as Zimbabwe

But let's be real....we offer a hand they will demand the whole arm.
Typical how the big corporations gone numb, they all too shit scared to appose anc, can't afford to lose business.what an excuse what a shame
Bang gatte.....
So tell me why do South Africans employ the people from Zim?
Not all Zimbabweans are part of the corrupt government.
Hard workers.
Be blessed, Ben. You are a strong man, fighting evil.
ANC WONT ALLOW US TO DOWNLOAD. AND SHARE. WITH THE REST OF SOUTH AFRICA

😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Can't they put background off, really distracting
Independence Ben , or majority rule
The only language these thugs understand is matter over mind resistance
Maybe fighting EWC directly is not the best idea. Maybe pushing towards some compromise that is seen as a WIN WIN will be more likely to succeed
Heart breaking and these things are evil. But desperatly clinging to god is just sad, no thank you.
That is a proper snor
