I love how gentle the mica lines came out. I have the same wish like you: to keep the shimmer of the gold mica in the finished soap. But I haven't found a satisfying technique so far. With your video I have learned to take a very thin traced batter when I use mica in oil. If the batter is too thick you see little of the mica :D Thank you very much for sharing your videos. @@tellervo. In my last experiment to this issue I thought "Maybe, if I put enough gold mica in the batter? Will it shimmer and look glittery then?" - Nope. Maybe it wasn't enough. Or it simply doesn't work this way. Glitter would solve this issue, but I don't want to use it. I don't trust the label "biodegradable". Maybe a mixture of both: not only much mica to the batter, but additional oil, too. I'm courious about your further experiments and hope to see more of them.
