You made me realise that it's not really necessary to just hold the fire button if you aiming the head. Now I have to improve my aim. Thanks for the video and the commentary
The best way to fire in this game isn't to magdump (hold down the fire button) but to do repetative 3 round bursts. You just have to space them out enough to let your cone of fire bloom reset and you can hit targets pretty far away with decent accuracy, and because your not wasting so many bullets in many if not all cases they will also die faster.
I want to get better with the Ghost CQC. Any pointers? I try to aim for heads, but end up panicking, thinking I won't make the shot, and end up going for the body instead. How do I break that?
Outside of jsut more practice in vr or something, you'll have to mentally override yourself, accept before you even try that your gonna take extra deaths and force yourself to go through with it for practice anyway, with the knowledge that excess deaths are ok and apart of the training itself. You'll probably find out your hitting more than you thought, or at least the pressure will be off and you can practice properly.
You have to spend some time actually focusing on it and yes there is a difference between playing while using the Ghost that you want to make headshots with and actually sitting there playing while focusing/thinking about only aiming for the headshots. The goal of these sessions is not "I am using the Ghost and just running around shooting planetmen" but instead "I am constantly focusing on the goal, aiming for heads", your K/D ratio is useless and taking the big L more often than not is expected. Eventually you will not lose nearly as many fights because your shots are actually hitting the heads. Point I am trying to make is that breaking or creating a new habit like aiming for headshots is not something you can easily do passively just playing the game, it has to be the main focus at the expense of everything else otherwise you will just default back to "what works" which might be taking the bodyshots because its more likely to hit but that way you wont be aiming at heads so at first its a GRIND to force you to aim for headshots, its only after that has become your new default that "casually playing" can still improve your aim, because then you are already trying to get headshots without a second thought, practice makes perfect and all that. TL;DR: There is no secret trick to it, you have to GRIND while focusing on aiming for headshots.. its the only way to make new habits, force yourself to do it for long enough until its natural to do it without forcing yourself anymore.

around 3:22 you said "I attach myself to the server" - what does that mean?
What I meant by that is that I ran AGAINST the server box to make a faster/more agressive peek as I turn the corner on it
@@itsMerikh Thanks, I thought you meant some Planetside 2 server trick or something. lol
