Great piece of kit. I have a heavy recon that I use as my get home bag set up. I am looking for a second . . . probably the regular Recon in manatee to blend in better. Also have their Umlindi, a Junction pack (best size pack I have ever had for a day/edc pack) and daily carry their attaché to work (my edc bag). Their gear is top notch and everything you say about the is solid truth. Spread the HPG love.
It does kind of stand out as someone just wearing a chest pack in public where nobody else is gonna be wearing that. Still an awesome product for hunting, hiking all of that
even in larger cities Omaha, Rapid City, Kansas City nobody even pays attention to it then again in LA it would but for the places I go there is always the undertone of hunters and outdoorsman it sticks out as much as a backpack and even less depending on the pack
As a Snowmaker I have been wearing chestpacks from Conterra for years. After seeing this I will be taking a hard look at HPG set ups. Looks like something I need for sure. Oh and as always great content.
Wanted to come back to this video to say thanks for the recommendation. I got a SAR medium kit bag and this thing works great! It's very well built and held a lot more than I thought it would for its size. For anyone on the fence (I know $150 is a lot for some folks), it's really worth every penny.
I like Esse but they are not in the same book as Mora as far as budget goes. I misplace an Esse I'm not stopping till I find it, I lose a Mora I'm sad I lost a blade but it's under 15 bucks
