Remedies for Pitrudosh other than Pitru-darpan :
1. Refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food.
2. Prepare bulk food at home and serve it to multiple people on the road (donate with the intention of dedicating this energy/punyakarma to your ancestors...you can also take the names of your ancestors) for 14 days.
3. Return extorted money, renounce extramarital affairs, quit smoking, and abandon other harmful habits. Also, avoid wasting food during Pitru Paksha.
4. Every morning, prepare Panchamrit, visit a Shiv temple, and perform Abhishek on Shivji. Offer a coconut with both hands and recite the Mahamrityunjay Mantra 108 times for the peace of your ancestors' souls (take a sankalp/pran). Repeat this process for 14 days.
5. Make chapatis and offer them to Gomata for 14 days.
6. Donate biscuits and chapatis to dogs for 14 days.
7. Before eating, take a small portion of food, rotate it three times on your plate, and put it in a bowl. Feed this food to birds.
8. Seek forgiveness from your ancestors.
9. Lastly, "Jinda logon ko khush rakho Pitru apne khush honge" - (Random Person from live chat summarized the session)

I have two stray paw 🐾 friends , yesterday one of the them started crying and didn’t let me go .I could feel her pain but at the same time I felt I couldn’t do much besides feeding and comforting her .
