I drove a 10 yard dump truck back in 1966 during our summer break between our junior and senior grades . We hauled just as fast as we could get loaded and we didn't have to wait any longer than to get out of our trucks and get a drink of cold water . No A/C in our trucks and that was a very hot year here in Little rock , Arkansas . Extremely dusty and Hotter Hell . One week we were hauling from one site to unloading site a block away and couldn't get out of second gear and at least get a little air to blow the duct out of the cab of the truck .

The contractor ripping the truckers off he's not paying those guys a hourly rate, he's paying them by the load used to go on jobs like this years ago, pay is a flat rate based on how many loads you can make in a shift

How far away are they dumping their loads ? Looks like 10 yard dump boxes .
