Right im planning to buy a car in January - currently looking at quotes right now, its showing interest rate 13.9apr finance (which is a bit high) i was planning to get a barclays loan but my credit score is low and could not get a loan ughh. OMG thank god i saw your video! Cus my eyes are on the same car as youve had! But now, i think im going to get cheaper like A Class - would you recommend it to get it as HP instead? Cus i might regret it at the end not owning it ?thanks x
Hey!! Ooo so I ain’t no financial advisor! So my OPINION would be stay flexible and just go with a PCP . Also don’t get it brand new. Get it a few years old. It’s better bang for buck in my opinion. I’m not the biggest fan of A class, I think it’s a little compact. I have a Gla which is cheaper than c but a bit more spacious. Look at all your options but ultimately make sure you can afford it and prioritise saving! These are hard times!
@@pitolinmotion youre amazing! deffo taking your advice!!! Buy what you can afford!!! And yes im 25 now and would love to start saving up for a place! All the best hun and take care ! Thanks so much x
This video was soo insightful! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 I really really want to upgrade my current car (not on finance) onto a finance one. However, I’ve also just bought a new house too.. the financial commitment be committing 😅
Well congratulations on the house 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I honestly think wait! Move in , settle down into the house for at least 6 months first. Buying a house is no joke, especially if you’re doing any work or buying furniture: you won’t wonna be financially stretched. Then can’t even use your new car cos you can’t afford to go out. Delayed gratification will be your best friend here x
Mine is 24% I’m paying it double to get it paid off quicker. The reason why my percentage was so high was because of bad credit if I was living in London, or someplace with good transport, I would not get no car.
24% damnnnnnn sis! I thought I was in the streets! Sounds like a good strategy though. For me whether in London or not, absolute flexibility is a must so I have to drive lol, but if you can defo do without, it might not be a bad idea
@@pitolinmotion As bad as it’s sounds I’m grateful because where I live in Cornwall. Public transport is horrendous. I won’t even be able to take my daughter to school or manoeuvre plus it’s low miles and good condition, so I’ve not had many problems with it like I did have with my car in London every couple of months, a couple of hundred here and there and adds up I’m lucky enough to be in the position to pay double amount so I can pay it off quicker, but yeah, this is a lesson learned, and after this year I will not have bad credit ever again in my life.
