I was born in 83. My two brothers are six and nine years older than me. Thanks to them I was clued into shows/ cartoons/ toys from before I was born.
I miss how things were then. Both how are family was and how things were in general in our society and pop culture.
When I look at a modern show like She-Hulk Attorney at Law and compare it to growing up with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in The Incredible Hulk, it makes my heart ache that my nieces and nephew didn't/ don't get to grow up with the quality of society and entertainment we were blessed to get to enjoy. Star Trek the Next Generation was a family event, there were no f-bombs dropping in it like there are today.
When I close my eyes, I can see my old elementary school binders with the puffy stickers on them and the skateboard parts in my brothers' shared bedroom.
If I could have a magical wish granted, it would be for a brand new week together as the family we were back then. To pick up my little sister again and pet and play with our family dog, Shadow and our parents as young and vibrant and pain-free as they were.

As a 2000s kid, I only grew up with some these cartoons from the 1980s such as SuperTed, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Thomas And Friends, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Garfield And Friends, Muppet Babies, The Smurfs, Alvin And The Chipmunks, The Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, DuckTales, Care Bears, The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh and Inspector Gadget since they were ether on TV or I watched them on VHS or DVD.

Wow, this is the first time I have seen this video on your UA-cam channel & my goodness. I remember watching most of these classic cartoons in my youth. but I definitely dont remember The Telebugs though. I dont think I watched that one. but other classic cartoons I did used to watch were, Ulysses 31. BraveStarr. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Toxic Crusaders & The Legend of Prince Valiant. :)

Haven't seen this version of an 80's Cartoon Intro Montage since another channel combined all parts of this, and then it disappeared, and then another Montage showed up made by Retro Crunch which I thought was good too.
Great Montage, I have seen the first episode of "M.A.S.K." a long time ago on a channel that uploaded a bunch episodes. That series was pretty rad, despite Matt Tracker's "Mellow" introduction. lol
Hope your doing well during these hard times dude.

sadly its copy rights you get the company's annoyed as your putting content up that's not yours i have a channel has uploaded in a good few years but has the best 80's and 90's cartoons on there, its kinda sad we can't watch these great ontro's on youtube without it being vod muted or its a video made like 9 years ago,

Visionaries is insane for cartoons that had to be hand drawn. Mask always gets me for super high tech equipment fighting to fight 'crime'. The last one, that computer keyboard and beep in centurian is such a weird reminder of those clunky machines decades ago.

As I'm writing this comment, I've recently acquired the complete series of "M.A.S.K." on DVD, well the complete "first" series. I am aware of the second series that changes the series into a racing series ala "Speed Racer". I got the DVD as a Christmas present.

Yeah, I much preferred the first season over the second. Got a DVD of episodes from the first season somewhere, but I think a lot of the episodes are on UA-cam anyway.

  • @sirmugman

ah mask complete with useful safety tips at the end hell even the bad guys had safety tips at the end! madness! oh also side note if you watch the real ghostbusters in which they go out to the country to an old house that's huanted for a brief moment you se the mask cars the camaro and the jeep yeah i kid you not there in there!
not seen the cenertions i think i made a mistake woops oh well still good intro,
defenders of the earth good show got the vhs on how they came to be, and saved from the rubbish dump as they had slight smell of mould was the book,
wheeled warriors i need to find on vhs as it looks good though the boss does look like he went on to do dragon ball as one of the goodies/badies?
this is the one i was thinking of again i have a book on them rescued from the dump good cartoon but as i say very floored if they like a limited amount might of been better,
transformer 1984 ONWARDS! they never stopped they just kept on going, even to this day with baby transformers or kids transformers,
sadly called "the real" ghostbuster as at the same time there was that other VERY WELL FORGOTTEN ghostbusters cartoon which bombed and this lives on you can't beat ghostbusters though the new film well newer film kinda did,
THE ORGINIAL NOT THE CRAP THEY HAVE ON NOW! just like ducklua this will be in my mind i still kick myself for not having money when i saw the complete box set at CEX =( but i have a good porton on vhs and a few on dvd,
i've seen this and they never finished it, i'm sorry but even i know there wold be a world wide surech for these kids the ride would be closed down hell they even got back once but had to go back in, i think if i'm right but DnD matches don't go on this long and they have some ending, but this there still there to this day kinda makes you wonder if they saw the world now if they'd go back there,
oh incomming copy right strike this gets that the inspector gadet theme plus the vhs are crap 3 eps and that's it and there only like 12 ish mins longs saw the dvd set in a chairty shop 50p not bad....if it had all the discs but one was missing,
very forgotten and one i've not seen cartoon might be its only remember by a few,
and we end on a true classic if you've not seen ducktales YOU HAVE NO LIFE! and the critic is right that theme AHH ITS IN MY HEAD! it is like a drug that you remember doing and its still there years laeter just every so often your hear that boom tish boom tish and be ike "life is like a hurracane ere in duck berd race cars lazers airoplanes ts a duck blur (and yes i wrote that without looking or hearing the vid that's how bored into my brain this is!)

Ghostbusters and MASK are in the same universe? There's a comic book tie-in just screaming out to happen there!

I laughed real hard at some of these cartoons I'd never heard of when I first came across this series a long time ago. Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos might have been the biggest LOL.

Funnily enough, Chuck Norris does appear in one of these 80's Cartoons Intro Overload videos. Have a watch through the playlist on my channel and see if you can spot it!
