- Spent time in Big Sur last week with Madeline and visited some friends, ran some errands, played cards and went on a hike where I painted with my new watercolor set. It was nice spending time in the sun, surrounded by nature and in the best of company. Made some quirky illustrations and got a tan so it's a win win.

Man this is inspiring! I live hiking and just picked up watercolor today. Would love to do this some day
YESSSSS! Do it! after a long hike, pack a picnic, your watercolor sketchbook and a travel kit/brushes and you're good to go. it takes up almost no space in your backpack and it's easy to make and quick to dry! Have fun!
