If Apple made an SE Plus with this exact design with the latest cameras (Wide and UltraWide lenses) with their newest chip set I would buy this in a heartbeat. My favorite iPhone design still.

@@matiasmuttoni9044 yes it’s fast but iOS 16 it’s slow and I was suppose to replace my battery today but we didn’t make a appointment so I made a appointment on Monday so I’m going with my grandma on Monday and I want my backbone controller :/ it’s coming on Sunday now I ordered it on June 4th it says it was coming June 6th the June 9th today and Amazon emailed me it’s coming this Sunday
Apple really messed up not releasing an SE plus. This phone with an A15 and at least 4gb of ram would be killer.

This year Apple should absolutely come out with an SE Plus or SE Max..I feel ALOT of people would buy..myself included! I have the 12 pro max currently but I miss the plus design, especially for the home button.

Highly recommend, It runs great with ios 16 and if it runs slow you can get a new battery for less than 50$ from Apple and it will run like new

I do prefer LCD because my eyes don't play good with AMOLED. I don't know why. I use a 12 pro now but if a new iphone come with LCD im all in.
The iPhone 12 Pro only uses OLED
PWM and dithering are the issues with Apple (Samsung) OLED for those who are sensitive. Sadly that's me and I haven't been able to use any OLED iphone since the X. I hope Apple continue to make LCD phones but they have to be at least 1080p resolution.

I agree re:white bezels on white phones. But the SE 2022 is snappier and will last longer. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy the 8+ unless they needed both Touch ID and a larger sized phone.
Better cameras didn't make much sense, it has more flexibility cause of the zoom lens, but the results from the main lens is a lot better on the new SE, less noise, much better hdr, and you get features like photographic styles and portrait mode on the selfie. About screen and battery you can't argue really, but the jump in perfomance from a11 to a15 should be considered, even more when talking about longevity of a new phone to buy this year.
Man I still have the 8 plus and I don’t wanna upgrade until there’s a se max or plus I like the homr button and big phones
@@ghosttiee9212 yeah I get it, but saying the 8 plus is better than the new SE is a lie. Even the battery on the new SE is pretty good, if the 8 plus is not 100% of battery health a new SE would probably perform better. Camera, longevity, performance is all significantly better. Unless you really like big screens/phones, I don’t see why not just get a new IPhone SE.

how does the phone perform in term of battery life after you changed the batter?
@@aihara2799 my 8 Plus became like 50% better or more, as soon as I replaced the battery. That was a month ago and it only improved. I am currently playing Call of Duty usually for 2 hours, and it runs it smoothly (low graphics though, but they look good on iOS).
All I can say is that sometimes I fee like it is better than the XR. I always thought that the perfect screen ratio (full HD like computer screens), has allowed for a smoother experience, unlike the XR which is constantly upscaling and so on, since it’s not full HD.
@@aihara2799 also, besides being so blazing fast and snappy now, the screen is also much brighter and more colorful.

Possibly my favorite iPhone ever. It was an easy choice to go with this over the X back when they released. I also had the gold one which is well outside of my normal black color choice.
I have a iPhone 13 Pro for daily use (amaing batterylife) but have also a second hand iPhone SE 2022 i think the batterylife is great on this, and the main wide lens, with A15 and with smart HDR 4 is taking better pictures than iPhone 8 Plus, missing out of the telephoto lens on SE 2022 though. Can't see many benefits on the 8 Plus vs SE 2022

@@DamienWilde I almost forgot. Landscape on the home screen (only if widgets aren’t equipped) this things got so many features lost on new iPhones. About 3 weeks ago I got the 14 pro max and realized it’s so heavy. 8 plus only weighs 200 or so grams vs 240. So while I’m at work I keep the 8 plus in my pocket

I think so. Definitely not more than 3 however. My old 8 plus is still very functional but I upgraded to an 11 for other reasons. Still relatively fast and handles updates great
I think so. At least for 2 years Apps will work on it I think but I don’t know if it‘ll get iOS 17 (but I hope so).
@@Dark_Flame_Master I hear you. I can’t see the 8 plus getting ios 18. That’s fall 2024 as year #7. Currently ios 16 has been buggy on all iphone. ios 17 should be the last update for the 8 plus, that is if it becomes true in sept 2023.
@@edgaryzen4925 I hope that it gets iOS 17, because I will have/ want to use it for at least 2 years after support end before I buy a new iPhone (that way I can save more money for it and I can buy a pro one with a big storage).
