From a Japanese, I recommend you guys to go to drugstores for snacks. The order of prices goes up by drug stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores.

5:18 Edible rice paper. In England I used to buy coconut macaroons in bakeries, which were baked on rice paper. Don't see them anymore.

I would be interested to know how much rent you pay for the house. Recently saw a video where someone paid 1200 euros for 20 square meters in Japan

Hi guys :) maybe this is a bit of a weird comment but I just wanted to apologize for giving you guys such harsh comments when you decided to leave germany. At the time, I was just worried about little Willa and being overprotective. I am not trying to excuse it, just trying to make you understand that it came from a good place. Still, it was inappropriate of me to respond as harshly as I did. I am genuinely happy that I was wrong about the move being a bad idea, and I am happy that you guys are happy! I hope you all accept my apology, and I wish you continued health and happiness as a family! :) Best wishes from the Netherlands :)

Hi!! Thank you so much for this comment. We appreciate the insight and accept your apology! 🫶 It means a lot to us that you would take the time to reach back out. We did receive a lot of negativity, and although we still felt right in our decisions, it was still a bit hard to read the comments. So, thank you!

We love a good taste testing video!! Happy you do too! 😋 The Japanese people have such a great relationship with food (it seems so from our perspective at least). There is Japanese saying about eating until you’re only 80% full, really being present when they eat, eating a variety of foods (yes including snacks and desserts too but also a lot of other foods), and really viewing food as such an important thing! Also they’re super active! Most walk and ride their bikes daily!

@@OurStorytoTell these japanese people are so smart. but I'm surprised that there are instructions on the chip packaging on how to use them correctly. They're so clever, they don't actually need it.

@@chellyd.7977 I am referring to all the food videos up to now. Lots of highly processed snack type food wrapped in plastic. Maybe that’s something Americans are used to but here in Europe we go more for fresh products and we are cutting back on plastics. Of course I also eat Chips and sweets but in moderation. Even the restaurant meals they have shown us seem to be on the fast food lines although I am sure some taste good.I appreciate that this couple do not eat this rubbish all the time, she is a dietician after all, it was remark about the Japanese not this family.

Karen? I kid u not, 99% of japanese are skinnier than you, your comment is pointless. It's about snack. Get over your superiority complex. Your view is outdated. Have you been to the states? The food in the US is way more super processed and crappy. Stay at your village in middle of nowhere Europe. No one cares.
