I think this is the earliest I've made it to a Peter video. Although I don't really know why I get excited about being early to a video. It's not like making it to an appointment on time or anything. Oh well, I guess I'll just enjoy the dopamine or serotonin or whatever is being released right now.
I love your real time videos where you chat. I have very bad depression and anxiety but your videos like these make me happy and calm. That’s very rare for me these days. Keep doing what you’re doing and thank you!
Thanks Peter. You’re a comfortable constant on this platform; I can always be assured in the solace you provide when I’m feeling lost and uncreative. Over the past years I have fallen out of touch with the mind of my pens and pencils and have returned to witness this humble creation. Again, thanks. Please never stop as I have done, I regret it immensely.
I love your real time drawing vids! It's like we get to just hang out with you while you draw. Also, I'd love to see you draw with permanent ink and then color with watercolor!
Hey there Peter. I am a bit of a gear head when it comes to lawn mowers. The most important thing is to use high grade gas. It will keep the engine clean and your mower running well for a long time. Also, consider adding some sort of carburetor cleaner if it is running rough. 9/10 the carb gets dirty and your mower runs rough. Change the spark plug once a season and you will be good.
hey Peter! just wanna let you know i really enjoy the real-time drawing videos with you talking over them! I listen to them everyday at work while I do my OWN art. Zoning ou and listening to you talk is really great and its cool hearing what you have to say. Also love your art been watching for a while now. You're awesome!
The things that impresses me the most is how free and imaginative your doodles look. You start with a line and by the end of the video it has so many fun parts! Everything looks connected in a natural way and not forced at all. I've tried this a couple of times and I can't do it. I wish there was some sort of technique to unlock that "free flow drawing" but I guess it comes with practice (which I seldomly do) Love your videos sir. They are quite fun and relaxing to watch!
You know what's awesome when you mow is when the grass is healthy and long and it like hisses as you're passing over it because you're basically giving it the best haircut.
Really like the pens! They seem girthy and comfortable to hold. Also the look! I think I remember correctly that they’re unique and non repeating from pen to pen.
The best pencil sharpener ever is from a brand called Mobius and Rupert, I think, now abbreviated to M+R. They make great sharpeners, and my favorite is the small, heavy, brass circle with two different blade angles. They also sell refill blades separately. I use Prismacolors religiously and will let no other brand of sharpener touch my pencils. The M&R sharpener never ever breaks my pencils. Sharpening with it is a breeze. I actually enjoy the experience of sharpening my pencils because it just works that well. I have given that sharpener as a gift to several other artists. I tend to get a funny look from them at first, but then a week or two later, they come to me gushing about how great it is. It's such a small thing, but if you work with pencils, it's a life affirming item.
Thanks so much: I use the time hanging out with you creating little doodles that I latter collage into a small sketch book- I have little time to do my regular avocational art…
This was great as always Peter these types of videos are easily my favourite where you just draw and ramble lol thanks for everything you do my guy 🙏 and you helped me get into fountain pens so much love for that too ❤️
Get a manual lawn mower. Really fast, but still gives give frogs, and worms, and bug time to get away. And it is cheaper than electric or petrol mowers and no fossil fuels. Had one for years.

Hullo Peter, I know the struggle of picking colors, Gem over on "The Color Cave" Channel has the best swatches, she keeps them in a sketchbook to reference back when she is working on a coloring job! I have done a similar with many of my Art supplies. Swatching pencils is a good idea as they are never or seldom the color of the barrel! I have always swatched watercolors as the pans never look like the color once it hits the paper! I even keep a swatch sheet in my palettes because it is easy to forget or mis-remember just what a color will do when wet! I have only been able to afford one of your books, I do have a couple more in my Amazon cart. I do love the new Peter Pen! Just another item on my wish list! Keep the drawings comin'! I wonder if you saw Jake Parker's stream with the spaceship drawings? He did stream to promote his Kickstarter spaceship book! Yeah it has already funded now there are just perks to earn! Why don't YOU do a spaceship drawing? I enjoy watching you create alternative transportation vehicles! Why not go outer-space? Yes! Do it!
I just found your channel, but it would be awesome to read a graphic atmospheric novel from you with your illustrations!! KDP is a great way to self publish and I have a small collection of stories that I published on there too!! You have a great philosophy in your work and everything you say!! Thanks for sharing your mind with us!!
I am a ballpoint pen artist and I found a company that claimed to be archival. It’s called ballograf. Also carbon ink, the ink you are using is permanent and archival.
I absolutely cannot STAND pants of any kind, for any reason. I will wear joggers if it’s cold outside, but the second I get home inside I’m back in shorts. 😂 Bedtime, I sleep in just my boxers and that’s it. No shirt, certainly no pants. Sometimes I’ll sleep in my shorts, but not often. I don’t know why, but I feel like I’m being restrained and suffocated in bed if I’m in pants or a long sleeve.

0:45 No homo but your fingers are nice dude. Maybe that's just because I bite mine and they're always swollen. But all the nails are the same length and so clean. The perfect hands for a tiny sketchbook video
Don’t listen to those idiots who say ballpoint pen ink fades quickly. it doesn’t. it must be n direct sunlight all day every day for a year or more for it to begin to fade and what art is in direct sunlight for that long
Well Mr. Draws: I do have a tiny Pentalic sketchbook, and I just got out both my Pilot Metropolitan with deArtrementis Document ink, and my Sailor Fude with tsuki-yo ink, and I'm playing along with you as you draw, and it's helping me through a really difficult day. Thank you.
Hi Peter, you're right. There is a pattern and sequence for how and when biological things like branches appear on trees, it creates patterns in e.g. pine cones, leaves, flowers, sea shells etc. In leafy plants, the pattern ensures that each leaf gets the maximum amount of light possible. It's called the Fibonacci sequence.
I got my Peter pen from goldspot the other day! I’ve never paid anything close to what it costs for a pen but let me tell you guys- it’s worth EVERY penny. It feels so good in my hand. Not too big, not too small. And it just glides across the page if you write with it, and it has really good control if you draw with it. The color is beautiful on them too. There’s even a little narwhal on the nib. If you haven’t gotten one yet- get one! You won’t regret it.
He wasn’t lyin either, it comes with a little card that he signed and the other side is like a little mini chunk of one of his drawings. I haven’t picked up another pen since I got it.
@@riteasrain I know what you mean, RiteAsRain. I was so excited when I had the chance to buy one but then on checking out, I saw how much the postage to Australia was and I had to put it back. I had to go off and have a big cry.
The problem with plastic carburetors is ethanol in gasoline nowadays will cause the plastic to degrade. Before they put ethanol in all the gas, it wasn't a problem. You shouldn't use gas with ethanol in it in an engine with plastic carbs, and this was even an issue with some automobiles when they first mandated putting ethanol in all gasoline. It's been a number of years since I drove or paid attention to this kind of stuff, so I'm not sure if it still applies, but I do remember all this. If you really want to put yellow in it, put yellow in it. That having some yellow somewhere, even if it is just a spot, could be a sort of signature to your art!

It's the moment where few people have watched the video and it feels intimate. I get you😌
I find peace in listening to you, Peter.
I've taken my time with this video, it has been worth my undivided attention. Thank you, sir.
I love your real time videos where you chat. I have very bad depression and anxiety but your videos like these make me happy and calm. That’s very rare for me these days. Keep doing what you’re doing and thank you!
Love these real time videos! Sped up is cool, but I like watching the full process. New Peter Pen is badass! Had mine for a week now, it's great.
@PeterDraws- what?!? I won??

That would be a delight.

Peter PETAR A COLRIING BOOK SO GOOD. Sp good idea yes 😮😮😱😱😱 Wow
Peter, you're too cute! The broiler is part of your oven. Look at the oven knobs and you'll see a broiler setting. Enjoy!
