great point! I should've included a disclaimer. If you're very gentle there is a plastic inner cap that prevents the copper threads from touching the pens... so long as you put it on perfectly straight. It probably isn't worth the risk but I'm a serial poster so the risk is worth the reward for me
FYI they tell you not to post their pens. The internal copper threads of the screw cap with scratch the satin finish
