Darjeeling Tourist Spots | Keventer's & Glenary's Food | Ep-2

- This video was recorded on 15th April 2024. We had our breakfast at Keventer's and started our journey for Darjeeling sight seeing at 9am. 1st spot we visited was Japani's Temple and Shanti Stupa. A very beautiful and peaceful location. Then we went to Batasia Loop, we were fortunate enough to witness the Toy train there. It was a crowded Sunday. Batasia Loop was full of people, the weather was nice. We enjoyed there. Then we visited Rock Garden. A beautiful waterfall is there and around that a beautiful and narrow walkway went up to the top of the hill. As we go up there were less crowd, its beautiful up there. A beautiful cave is there along with a mandir. We spent about an hour then went to visit Darjeeling Zoo. We had our lunch near Zoo. A beautiful thali was served which was very tasty. We visited the Zoo, many animals were there. Most surprisingly we witnessed the Royal Bengal Tiger at a few steps distance, it was huge and beautiful. Then we visited the Refugee Camp where they make Carpet and sweaters by hand manually. A beautiful location on top of the hill. But unfortunately it was closed as it was a Sunday. But we visited the Buddhist temple there. Then we came back to our hotel around 4:30 pm. In the evening we do some shopping near the mall road and around 8pm we went to Glenary's for dinner. We enjoyed our dinner along with the rain and cold breeze. Came back to hotel around 10:00pm and call it a day.Come back to the next episode for our rest of the trip, we visited many places on our way back to NJP.
