This is typical vfl park whether it never was at other grounds. Also this is the reason why Carlton had a poor finals record at vfl park, the g would have made a difference. This was the first of 3 finals losers to Melbourne 1988 not so much, 94 although we were still favourites and in particular 2000.\
It was a harsh free kick paid against the Carlton player, and the ball did appear to touch the goal post, but I couldn't care less. I hate Carlton, any time they lose, the rest of the competition celebrate, and even more so when they "win" the wooden spoon for finishing last, and officially being recognised as the worst team/club in the AFL. I love it! :-)
Michael T take it off, they still lose, so in the end it only meant a slightly smaller losing margin, which in a final means nothing. It’s why Carlton didn’t protest it. If it as taken away, they still lose by 17 points, so what’s the point?

and they got pumped the next week
Least they made it
As did hawthorn in 1987
1:04:20 Controversial free kick and subsequent poster awarded as a goal to Melbourne seals Carlton's fate.
+Tom Marvan Aw diddums
They lost by more than 1 goal princess
+sliat1981 take away that goal and you still lose by 17 points. Are you that idiot Carlton fan who ran onto the ground?
