I think Mahiro scored points with his use of timed drops/switches. He was not even touching his gear during the switches in round 2. First round he used silent recording for the surprise drop that caught everyone off guard. The weird intro was more like a decoy than a serious composition. Then he kept hammering it in variations. That won the battle. Impedance’s both rounds are fire. His 2nd round track outshone Mahiro’s 2nd round, in my opinion. Anyway, great to see more reactions to the JLC2023. A lot of great loopers.
Mahiro's first round really overshadowed all the rounds after that for me honestly XD It went 0-100 real quick and it was a type of beat that you would use for a final or at least the 2nd round of a semifinals. Impedance first round reminds me of a future bass track which I used to listen to a lot during high school but a round like that wasn't enough to beat Mahiro's overwhelming punch at the start. I give the 2nd round to Impedance though since it did hit harder only because of his physical perfomance. Both 2nd rounds were really solid rounds but Impedance performed better imo. But overall Mahiro just took the W in my eyes clearly lol
