This came out so pretty! Whenever I do French knots it untangles when I go to pull it through. Does anyone have any tips to keep it from unknotting? It just makes kind of a single regular stitch but it takes longer and makes me nuts 😅
Pay attention to what direction you're wrapping the thread around the needle for one, and don't have too long a thread for it to convince itself to unravel while you pull the thread through. Also, make absolutely certain you're not going back through the fabric where you needle came through. That's the most common things I can think of. I'd have to physically see it to know for sure where the issue is. X3 Hope I've helped at least a little.
@@firegodessreiko omg thank you so much! I think my thread is probably too long. I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes! Thank you!
@@dancerchickk you have to keep tension on the string while you pull it through as well. It took me a little while to get it right consistently but keep practicing and you'll get there =)
@@alixtheprofessionalcatherd6850 thank you! Would that be tension on the string closer to the fabric, like the left hand?
I watched a video called "French Knots - How To Do Them Correctly" and it helped me fix mine :)
you have given me the key to my cottagecore witch aesthetic yes
Yesss!! haha I would love to see it all:)
@@Shmoxd can you do mushrooms please :))
That honestly sounds amazinggggg
Bryan talking to himself is so cute 🥰 god I love this dude and his content
Same I was smiling the whole time ✨
I feel like I'm going crazy I talk to my self so much...
dood i was so confused. i thought you just glued flowers on. THIS LOOKS SO REAL
ahhh! thanks so much cake calamity!:):)
That Tupperware trick literally just changed my whole life. I had to pause the video and take a moment. I am SHOOKETH
Exited for the gnarly ghost intro but I’m gonna miss the old intro
duuuuuude! me too. I need to bug him about it more:)
The mixed thread is CRAZY ! Ive never thought to do that but I’m for sure trying it next time :D
I was pleasantly surprised on how well it worked!! Will for sure be doin it more in the future.
you should do a haul of everything you've made that's lying around and how you feel you've grown from it/ what you would've changed looking back.
love your stuff dude!
I would looooove that.. I would be a process just finding them!
Have you ever thought about doing some sort of site or forum where crafty folks can get together and share tips/show off their makes? Maybe somewhere people can try your makes and trade tips?
Maybe a discord server!
I was just thinking about some leftover black tulle I have laying around that I've been wanting to embroider
Im sure a colored thread or white would really pop against the black tulle!
@@beverage7335 I second this motion:)
Oh shit, that could turn out so amazeballs.
I would have never have thought to secure my embroidery loop that's a total game changer.
This came at the right time. I have a group of friend consist of 4 people. Each one of us have birthday in September, October, November, December. The one on December is on 31st of December.
I've planned to give them a present on New Year's Eve. And I'm thinking about some embroidery stuffs to give them. I haven't done embroidery, so this is really helpfull. 🔥
I'm so glad I could help! and they will love the gifts:)
wow, I literally thought the thumbnail was just a dried flower sandwiched between tulle and only now realized IT'S YOUR FREAKING EMBROIDERY. wow wow wow!
This is so pretty! The flowers remind me of baby's breath (the plant - not actual baby's breath.. that would be weird). Loveeeee!
hahah actually baby's breath.. i. uh.. I .. don't even know how I would embroider that 😂
I think these flowers are called yarrow. Fun fact: yarrow is actually a very medicinal plant
Those 5 twist French knots almost look like bullion knots, looks super cool!
I totally forgot his name was Bryan. I somehow convinced myself it was Steven
This turned out so well, the French knots look so pretty and the flowers look real, can't wait to try it out!
Hold tight onto the floss and pick one strand, pull it straight out while the rest scrunches. it hardly ever knots for me! try it sometime :)
hahah 🙌🏻🙌🏻
the cutest artsy bean EVER!!!!!
Love the trick with the two colors twisted together! I usually just do them separately and one of the strings usually gets lost, it looks like that'll solve it. Also love that lil hand ring 😁
Great idea and I like that you show your work that doesn’t work for you also.😊
yo this is so relaxing i could sleep to this (and I mean that in a gentle way not boring way)
hahah love that so much!!:)
1 minute ago!! these youtube notifications are finally working for me
I love the way you explain everything, especially all of your trials and experiments.
I missed the hats, so I jumped on that tee shirt asap
I'm stoked for them! glad you got it:)
Man, you're just too good at everything.
I love your channel!!
Thanks so much!!:):)
More embroidery videos plz😩🙏✨
I'm on an embroidery kick!! so there will be more:)
Hello, random person scrolling through. I hope you are doing well and are having a good day.
Same from me too.
Always so impressed by your skills and picking up stuff so quickly and professionally! The attention to detail is amazing ~ I love it so much!!
Thanks so much!!! I've love how I can transfer my knowledge/skill of other mediums and use in in new uns...
mixing thread and then railroading the stitch if you can is how I saved cash as a teen, buy 2 thread colors and then slide that mix in between as a blend. But damn, you're making me wanna nab some tulle and make some custom embroidered shirt collar style necklaces.
wow the leopard looks awsomeeeeee
Fun tip, for a neater back, don’t knot, just go back on your stitches and it should hold without leaving tails or needs for glue 😊
This could look so cool on the back of a t-shirt...
*cough cough*
THIS COULD LOOK SO COOL ON THE BACK OF A T-SHIRT
So timely! I've been thinking of doing this just last night!
doooo it:) and you should let me know how it goes!
I find that for tulle its helpful to use no-knot method for starting off!! it helps prevent knots :)
King of Crafting! This is so beautiful and realistic
I love your voice, and the way you make the things easier
I love how u always film the full process
Awesome idea for light table. Holy crap im on fire with your inspiration. Thank you!!! Xoxo
I've always loved the scissors! They look like they're from Over The Garden Wall, am I right by chance?
ohhhh shiiliiiit! I love over the garden wall! I'm so glad you have seen it:)
the vibes? impeccable.
From the thumbnail I thought you had just attached dried flowers and I was thinking "oh what a cool idea" but it was thread all along 🤯
Watching you do stuff is like meditation
I hope the next tulle embrodiery you will do is your portrait! Nice one bro :)
Charles
ooo that would be a fun one!!
This was a joy to watch. Thanks for documenting the process.
Thank you! This video is great. I have been thinking starting the embroidery on tulle but I'm afraid of failure. This video has given me the inspiration 😊
Always exciting when you post new videos:)
Amazing work on the Tulle. You are so creative.
Thanks Brian 🌼
It's so pretty! They look like baby's breath (I'm guessing that's what they are?). Love it!
I actually have no idea what they were.. haha just something I found while I was out biking:)
i love this series so far
duuuude thank you for the diy lightbox hack
Such a pretty, delicate work. I've been thinking of getting into embroidery, but getting threads and hoops isn't easy for me at the moment. I'm keeping it as a "to try" 😊
You can use regular sewing threads. It might have a slightly different texture and thickness, but it is completely usable. As for the hoop, you can embroider without one just fine (maybe not on tulle though, it's quite finicky) or you can try some DIY versions made with big yoghurt/other containers lids :) I have been doing some kind of embroidery on and off since I was a little kid. So yeah, just to say that sometimes you make do with what you have on hand and it works :)
@@vandapereira6578 Thanks for that Vanda!:):) I think a cool video I could work on doing is a how to embroider with material you find at home.
@@Shmoxd Oh, definitely! Would love to see that :) sometimes it's easy to get overwhelmed by the fancy threads, hoops, supports... When in reality all we need to start is any random needle, thread and fabric. Then we can slowly build it up! I'll look forward to that video 🙂
You are so creative!! This looks amazing
Thank you s'much:):)
Whoa just when i wanted to start with embroidery again! :D perfect Timing ^^
7:02 true. most of the time i dont even start working on my idea because of fear of failing
This is so beautiful 😍 I just got an embroidery hoop so definitely gonna try it soon 🤓
Do it!!! and you'll have to tell me how it goes:)
This makes me imagine a lot of possibilities with tulle overlay clothing, maybe mixed in with some lace...lots of room for custom fashion!
woah!! I love that idea! you should totally do it!!
I fucken love this man 🥰 Bryan please never stop making content
Ok I HV some tool dream catchers such a good idea was cutting out lace and this is good idea
Loved the tulle-torial
So pretty
Ayyy... a shirt sounds great!
I've been experimenting with embroidery as well with different material. My next material I'll try on plastic vinyl :) I got this iridescent one 🌈✨😻 can't wait to make something wearable like a see through fanny pack or idk. I like your channel! 👌

Do black tool!! Would look cool with white n neon colors
Hi there! Are you just you doing a running stitch all throughout? I'm struggling with tulle cause it shows the back when I backstitch.
Many thanks! Love your channel.
You could make a gallery wall of your pieces.
is there gonna be a halloween themed video at any point 👀
oooo I'll try and think of one! I love spooky season

The thought of having a shirt to match my hat really makes me want to rob someone 🍜
Is tearaway backing the same as interfacing material? If not, where did you buy yours?
where'd you get those fancy gold bird scissors?
Aww man I was hoping for that new Intro Lmaoo maybe next video ://
I bet it won't be for a while... the guy helping me with it is taking his time on it:)
