Well - firstly, on the unusual opening doors - I have patio doors exactly the same and they are brilliant! Save space and open up better than bi-fold. Secondly, your reviews just get better and better Nick. Your unique 'take' on every little thing with comedic quips here and there just make these reviews unmissable. In my opinion, you are the best presenter of anything on UA-cam......Happy New Year to you
Can't beat flinging cushions around!.. Haines make some lovely boats, did like the 1 cabin layout as gives more space....Thanks for this Nick, good weekend 😊👍
hi Nick, I’ve not been commenting recently because I’ve not been too well, I’m lucky to still be here at 80 years old but a happy chap. I love these relatively low cost boats because they represent something that had I started being interested in votes, younger I would’ve been able to afford. Thanks for a fantastic review, I really appreciate that despite it being a cheaper boat you do not ski pond detail which is highly commendable. All the best to you for 2025, and thank you for all the pleasure you’ve given me in 2024, cheers Peter Solihull.
Hello Nick. I hope you had a lovely Christmas day . We all wish you a happy new year and hopefully you'll be over the million subscribers by next Christmas.😊
Hi Nick, another great thing about your channel, is that is regularly encourages me to look up the boat builder’s website and have a closer look at their specifications, floor plans and other models. Haines build some nice boats indeed. I used to own an aft cabin boat, and particularly like the rear lower stateroom that Haines builds in some of its boats. Their price point is also much more within the reach of regular folks. What a charming boat to end the year on. Well done and here is one final congratulations on your work in 2024. (sometime, tell us how you lost weight! It’s the new year and we will all be boarding that bandwagon)
Quite the boat! Bow and stern thrusters, a separate shower WOW! Could use a tad more speed, but great for puttering around the coast! Thanks Nick great tour!
Happy holidays, Nick! The quality of the Haines 36 Offshore shines through, for a couple's 1st real boat or for their last. The galley down gives the boat a certain panache, while still able to engage in a conversation with the person at the helm. It appears that lockers in the master cabin don't have a top on them therefore, allowing natural sunlight in from the windows above, and great ventilation. Also the perfect spot for a fire extinguisher, between the helm and the helm seat in its own cubbyhole. I noticed most fire extinguishers on boats are usually located in one of the hanging lockers down below, which of course is kinda inconvenient especially if you have a fire in a galley up situation. To sum it up, if you don't mind me absconding with one of your quotes... "a proper little ship"
Beautiful craftmanship and the plaque with the names of the builders, is a real nice touch. I'd love something like this, great tour thank you, have a nice weekend !
È davvero simpatica questa barca! I'arredamento artigianale in legno è veramente di buona fattura ma principalmente di qualità e solido, fatto per durare nel tempo. Mi piace! Approvata. Grazie per questo video.
Great value for money. If you're in a position to squirrel away a k a day for 1 year - that's your boat saved for and paid for, without breaking a sweat. Brilliant.
I am bemused by the absence of a quicker access, even partial, to the Engine(s). For such a handsome practical craft that seems a remarkable oversight. Would still love one, though. This or a Targa would be my choice to pootle back and forth across the North Channel.
Sir Nick, I've been working through the holidays so I'm playing catch-up...I pray that you had a nice Christmas, Sir, and as always, thank you for all that you share with us! Merry Christmas Sir Nick!
Hi Nick, I am in shock did i see this right no shorts on this time but in real trousers looks even better 😉 and this time you shows us a Haines 36 Offshore and it looks very nice more a couples cruiser with a occasionally extra bed make from the dinette nice the galley below i like that and a double in the bow very nice Thanks Nick great show⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Nick, great tour again Lovely boat. Would prefer two cabin option, but the engine access looks a daymare for regular pre-trip checks, probably made easier if wooden floor was used rather than carpet. Keep up good work & great content, all the best for 2025! Steve
Love these reviews of real boats for real people. I love super yacht reviews, but these are far more interesting. Frankly if I was going to get a super yacht I'd hire a good captain and let him choose. It would take years to learn how to run one of those. I could learn this. I just wish we had an Aquaholic in the US to show us American boats. We build a lot of boats but there isn't a lot of info on them. Is a Tiara better than a Scout or a Cruisers?
Very nice well thought out and put together boat like that a lot noticed some water in bilge when showing engine which i think is a bit of a faf to do daily checks
Would also get twin engines for offshore use. Love everything about it except the obsolete helm gauges and screen from 10 years ago. In this day and age, dual, redundant screens and nothing else except standby compass is all you need for a fully redundant helm
Every time Nick says there’s an alternative for a galley up layout THEN says he will explain later, I already know what’s coming. However, I was not expecting two options for the second cabin!
And £50K for a top of the range Honda Civic, £100K+ for a top end BMW 5 Series. Billions of pounds were invented and sprayed into the air, inevitable really. 🙂
Except for engine access I like this. This 1 cabin design would make an acceptable live aboard for holidays/vacations, if you tend to stay in marinas. Engine access would be bearable if you lose the carpet and go with different flooring, which may be the way it's designed, carpet just for boat show.
I like it allot really. however, I think it is missing some accoutrements for an offshore boat, like twin engine ips, generator/solar power, water maker, gyro etc. etc. you would think a boat with offshore in its title would have those features as a standard, not optional, if at all optional. just saying but I do like it even if it is set up like a fresh water run about lake/river boat
Great boat, fantastic build quality, they really are hand made and with massive options and layouts. Practical and comfortable.
That is a really no nonsense boat at a sensible price, thank you for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
My favorite kind of boats, functional and solidly built.

You're very kind, thank you! 😊

Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Brilliant tour, brilliant boat, brilliant company, and the local brokers to Haines (NYA) are brilliant too. 😊
Another first class review Nick! Wishing you all the very best both with work and with leisure in 2025.
Thank you, same to you! 🙂
Lovely boat, and a great showcase for UK boatbuilding.

I'm sorry to hear that, hope 2025 is the year you are on the mend! 🙂
Hello Nick. I hope you had a lovely Christmas day . We all wish you a happy new year and hopefully you'll be over the million subscribers by next Christmas.😊
Thank you! You too! 😃
I think thats a really nice looking boat inside and out, simple design and layout with everything you need. Great tour Nick thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

Thank you! A lot of walking on steep hills! 😄
Is it just me, or does this yacht have more personality than my last apartment? 😂 I need to start saving!
Well, maybe the first time I actually love the movable backrest!
Great video as usual,thanks.
Quite the boat! Bow and stern thrusters, a separate shower WOW! Could use a tad more speed, but great for puttering around the coast! Thanks Nick great tour!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Great small sensible boat especially for a couple of even solo use. Always twin engines for me. Great review Nick.
Thank you!
I think Marex is better in every way for the price.
Nice boat! Looks very comfortable. Small boat owners have got to love her manuverability.
Nice alternative. Perfect for a couple the way this model is set up. Love the details and wood work. Great tour
Thank you very much!
Great vessel and presented very well -- as always. Many thanks. 🍷
Hope that you had a terrific Christmas Nick 🎄
Thanks, hope you did too! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC Oh yes! 😄

I'm glad you like it! 🙂
Very nice, simple, unpretentious boat. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Nice quality boat. I'd go for the extra sleeping capability. Great video, and thanks for a great year. 🇦🇺 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Nice and compact, makes sense to get the one cabin layout. The twin engine configuration would be my option .
Thanks for the tour Nick
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful craftmanship and the plaque with the names of the builders, is a real nice touch. I'd love something like this, great tour thank you, have a nice weekend !
Glad you like it! 🙂
Wow, that is a really nice boat ---- for not particular reason. Just a cool boat....
Thank you nick. This boat is awesome. I like simple and well made over flashy and over priced.
Glad you like it!
"it doesn't really, I made that up" LOLOL 😂 at least you are honest. Another great video. Good job 👍👏🎉
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Happy Friday and happy Christmas nick🎉
Same to you! 🥂

Grazie per questo video.
Nice boat particularly suited with a couple to one cabin. A lot of windows and glass which I guess is for light and the views.
That's a cracking little boat mate .. I really do like that and it's great that it's an off shore buwt aswell 😁👍🏴
You are right Nick, it is a very nice boat. Many thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
If i ever own a boat its because of you. I love you affordable tours.
Great value for money. If you're in a position to squirrel away a k a day for 1 year - that's your boat saved for and paid for, without breaking a sweat.
Brilliant.
Perfect little vessel, thanks Nick
Glad you like it!
Proof you wear pants, still got those fabulous socks! Love all the tours, thank you, happy new year.
Happy new year!
Merry Christmas Nick hope you had a lovely time. A lovely review and looks like a very capable boat and very smart Thank you very much.
Happy Christmas!

Thanks, hope you did too! 🎄
What a lovely little boat it is, would be a perfect first for someone.
Great video Nick, gorgeous boat mate.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Well rounded and simple 😀 Thanks for the tour 😊
Merry Christmas AQUAHOLIC from New Zealand! ✨🎁🎄✨
Hey New Zealand! Happy Christmas to you too. 🙂
Nice review as usual, nick. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Wonderful, love to see boats I could, theoretically own at some point and this is a nice one.
Commitment 🎉🎉 such a great example.
There's a practicality and design thought that matches bigger and 'better' yacht designers. Princess and Sunseeker, etc will respect.

Back in the UK! 😄
Very nice lot more room on that boat than u think nick like the galley area quite big for Suze of boat
This could be my favourite boat of the year what a great thing to own nicely done Nick need to save my pennies though 😁😎👍
Lovely boat. Thanks Nick!
My pleasure!
A boat that's not trying too hard - in the best sense of the term.
Another nicely done tour.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Thanks Nick, a simple no nonsense useable boat. The cost won't break the bank it looks possible to spend extended stays on board. Cheers Nick
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Thanks Nick, great tour again

Brochures are worth reading If someone wanted buy one, looks great 👍 Inside as well
Seems like it might be a good loop boat, can even pop out to the Bahamas when passing through Fla.
Very nice well thought out and put together boat like that a lot noticed some water in bilge when showing engine which i think is a bit of a faf to do daily checks
What a lot of boat for its size, happy new year 🎉
Happy new year!
Lovely boat!
Thanks Nick and have a Great New Year .👍
You too! 🙂
Thank you, Nick. I don’t think this one is a contender for the next smugglers. 🙂
Nice boat nipping across to France.
Thanks Nick👍 And a happy New Year to you…🎉
You too!! 🙂
Stylish and well-built boat...as they already did 50 years ago.
Belated Merry Christmas from Ontario , Canada .
Same to you! 🎄
Engine access for the daily checks is far from ideal. The rest of the boat is seems very well put together. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Supporting a family owned business. Good on you!
The hinge guy noticed serious set up in wall units in galley !
Brilliant!
Nice boat Nick thank you❤️⚓️
Second Comment. :)
Hope everyone's had a lovely Christmas. This looks like a nice boat.
Same to you!

Venetian Blinds actually is a song Mattias Tell - Venetian Blinds is on spotify 😃 It’s a great song.
As you say it does look like a really sensible practical boat, however the engine access seems to jar with that vibe.
Lovely yacht.
what a great boat
Lovely! I don’t suppose we could get one on the west coast of the USA. Perhaps we best move to the UK.
Right sharp. 👍👍
Lovely ... Really lovely.
Great tour.
Could have taken your pyjamas off though, Nick... 🤷🏻♂️😂
Style never goes out of fashion! 😎
@AQUAHOLIC Fair play! 😆😂👍
Good video nick 🚤🛥⛵️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Thanks Jim!
Good to see a British brand succeeding. No jaGuar 'copy nothing' bs here hehe 😅...
Nice one !
Perfect for a couple or an individual that has no interest in other people or has an occasional visitor.
Was that a water leak +- 13: 49 in the vid?
Every time Nick says there’s an alternative for a galley up layout THEN says he will explain later, I already know what’s coming. However, I was not expecting two options for the second cabin!
360k on a 36, the world’s gone nuts!
And £50K for a top of the range Honda Civic, £100K+ for a top end BMW 5 Series. Billions of pounds were invented and sprayed into the air, inevitable really. 🙂

why does the shaft drip water into the bilge? (@13:48)
I see Haines, I click
I can see why! 😄
Fair value for $$$ :-)
one engine or 2 ?
is that price for that boat or the basic boat without options?
Excellent boat and not millions of dollars , would this make an excellent smugglers blues 3
I see the word "Haines" I think of the word "Jack."
Why do I feel this is better than your Smugglers Blue??
You would hope so, at seven times the price! 😄

Decent!
