I was not surprised the home was more recently abandoned, the boxes of meds looked pretty modern in its package, and not many homes would be in that great of shape abandoned 50 plus years, I giggled towards the end when you went to the last bedroom and thought that was a young girls dress, it is a full slip a lady would wear under her dress 😁, once again amazing video.

In America it is quite common for people to have "everyday" dishes and a set of "good dishes" which were reserved for holidays and guests. Also stemware and silverware as well. Also, could it be that the sausages were there because perhaps there was a squatter staying in the house more recently?

03:10 When I stayed with a community of artists in France, a couple of years ago, the washing machine there, was very similar to this. Very basic but also very efficient. The second machine is a spin dryer, just to squeeze as much water out, as possible 😊
[😂 the 1960s isn't very, very old. 😂 I get why you would say this because if I consider that its 60 years + ago, it seems like a long time ago but seriously my heart and spirit is still as young and vibrant as a young person ...and my body is still fit and strong. Those 60+ years feel like just a moment.
Bless, when you are my age, in around 2050-60, you'll undersand possibly get what I mean when someone says something was made in 2002, is very, very old 😁😉😀]

The glasses in the same display cupboards were used in my father's restaurant businesses, and now they're for display only. They also have a couple tea sets for guests, and extra crockery, cutlery, cookwear and glasswear in storage. We as a family just use cheap random mismatched plates, bowls and mugs. The Blue Willow plates are our favourite.

Yes I have special dishes I use when I have company over and also in the fall season (which is my favorite time of the year) when all the leaves change colors. I have a lot of beautiful fall dishes I use and decorate my home. I love the wall paper in the house you just went thru. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. God bless y'all and stay safe.

I'm in Canada, Quebec and yes , its was the tradition to take out the good dish set for special occasion; it is a lost tradition and can get nice used set for a very good price. My late aunt left me her wedding set, about 60 years old with no piece missing or chips along with the silver and I intend to use it for everyday dishes..Why not!

In Australia, we have a good dinner set that we use for special occasions or when guest come around. Not as common as it use to be. I did like the format of this video better. Your videos are some of my favourites to watch. Keep up the exploring.

Beautiful home. The kitchen looks so warm with all the same color wood everywhere. Same for all the other rooms with beautiful furniture all in good shape. I’ve never seen those types of washing machines!
Yes I enjoyed your new approach but I like your other one too. Both good. But exploring with you was cool!
The red ‘tissues’ with white dots are called handkerchiefs because they are made of cloth. We call paper face ones tissues.
This was so fun and refreshing!
    Thank you! 😊

Hi there.... You are so pleasant to watch n listen to..the music you have playing in the background is so welcoming to the ears. You always do a fantastic job in exploring these abandoned home's. In this house my favorite piece is that medication cabinet with the windmill on it. I like that cabinet but there is no way I could duplicate it. It's a fine piece of art

Yes, there is expensive dishware here in America that we do use for special occasions and holidays only. Some buy it just for decor. Yous are the best UA-cam explorers, even the music in the background. Keeps your exploring very interesting. Love from Ventura, California 🙂

The doors, furniture and woodwork in this home are absolutely gorgeous!!!! It’s sad that no one is enjoying them. At least the house doesn’t seem to be too far gone. It protects everything inside.
It looks like maybe the gentleman went to a care home or died and his heirs never cleaned out the house. Maybe everyone is gone now. The food could be from a squatter. Possibly?
