I have a question... When disconnecting the syringes from each lumen to connect the tubing, she the lumens be occluded? Is there a possibility of introducing air into the lumens?

Occlude the lines when disconnecting if there is not a blue connector on the line. If you do not have a blue connector, there will be a back flow of blood from the catheter. Thanks for the question and hope that helps!
