Nice video. I have one of your axes and love using it to save time getting a spoon blank ready. It's a shame more people don't work with wood for recreation and mindfulness. I am not very good but have made spoons, wands, slingshots, staffs, sticks, shoe horns and back scratchers...they are not brilliant but people really seem to enjoy them. There is something very calming working with natural materials like wood and leather
Beautiful film. I use my axe that you made most days and my life would be poorer without it. I didn't realise you had been awarded an MBE well deserved.
I have always thought I would love working with wood but I was so bad at it...I trained as a 3D Designer but when I was in the workshop it was horrific. But since I have discovered carving now I am on the right track. Slowly getting a small kit together but wood working tools are super expensive here (Perth, Western Australia). Love watching your clips.
MBE! Well done sir. Keep the top notch videos coming please.
