Nelson made the list of best small art towns in North America. I've never been to Nelson yet but I do plan to visit.
I live in Nelson myself, I couldn’t ask for a better place to be, we have such beautiful scenery and have a very strong community, and so many amazing people... For people that don’t live here, you need to visit and see for yourself how unique and full of joy this city is. Stay safe u guys!👍
You must be trying to sell your house as values right now are dropping as people dig deeper into the reality of this dusty old recluse of a town.
@@slydawwg nope still here, and I still love it
@@AJPFab my friend lives in nelson ,but why it feels so empty and small ,like its very boring without a nightlife ,sure it’s peaceful ,and beautiful maybe too peaceful
@@Kartik-ij2vy i dont think it feels "empty", but thats your opinion
@@Concentration_4298 well it does ,coz of lack of people and infrastructure, but it’s a good vacation city for couple of weeks ,revelstone is much better in terms of nature
Love Nelson, used to be part of a Medical team that would fly in and provide services at the Hospital, We would stay at the Dandelion B&B, Loved the local Restaurants in Nelson, Outer Clove, Hume Hotel, and Oso Negro were my favourites.
This video definetly helped me to get a closer decision on where in BC I want to settle. I´ve only been there once but after looking into a destination Nelson might be the right choice for me! See you this summer Nelson people!
Thanks for making/posting this. I used to live down in ID and came to Nelson many times. It's one of my favorite places on the planet even though its been 15 years since I've been there.
This town looks absolutely stunning, peaceful and full of joy. I am so tired of London, I wanna cryyyyyyyyyyyyyy
@bigpink pencil Please, stay home. You have no idea what a mess you would be putting you &/or family into moving there. It's a Promo Vid. & every town/city has them & of course they all look great. "Reasoned" is a word not used enough in the English language --- Study, Read, Learn, Cheerio .
@@slydawwg Hey..I see your comments everywhere in this comm. section..So..What is Nelson really like??..Tell me..Because from many Utube videos it looks like a unique, one of a kind beautiful city with soul, character and very interesting people, compact, plenty to do and see, and a vibrant Downtown..What is it that bothers you about Nelson?Homeless population? Bums? Drug addicts? Winter ?power outages?lack of jobs and housing?Yes I heard about those..so?I would like to know before I decide to move here..
leaving england and the wonderful historical countryside villages and architecture for canada, even a "nice" place like nelson would be a massive mistake. The "nicest" villages in canada don't even come close to what the english countryside has to offer, unless you really like skiing.
@@joang.6664 it is stagnant economically, and the city design and architecture is poorly planned and done. there is also the presence of both city and national police there and they have a weird characteristic and history which I won't go into here
Live in London is very good, I don't know why you cry for that.if you think your life is terrible please have a trip in the hell of world-----china.when you back you will love your nowlife in truly.
i've been to nelson for a week, stayed in balfour though, i love kootney lake.
Awesome, great place. I really want to move to live there
I lived there for a year, beautiful town
Only problem is how much snow it gets. 🥶🥶
Have 40 year to travel in the world.y conozco muchos paises y lugares.y eleji Nelson para hacer mi Vida ACA.un Paraiso!!!!
Hola Juan. Llegaste por algún programa de inmigración?
Que lugar lindo. Espero um dia, realizar o sonho de morar ai. (I'm from
Brazi)l
Wonderful .. thank you
I miss living here so badly.... one day I'll return!
i get on my bike and everything is better, aint that the truth !!! awesome video :)
🇨🇦 HAS MANY BEAUTIFUL PLACES
Kinda makes me wanna move to Canada and never want to come back to California.. what a Beautiful town...
It's a publicity vid. , don't be such an obvious schmuck. Cheers
I want really live in the Nelson 😍
The photography guy reminds me of myself, I've done the same thing here in Vancouver. I'm looking to leave to go to a smaller town and I stumbled upon this...
I feel like a lot of us are looking to leave Vancouver. Nelson looks like a really nice place for creatives.
@@eelexa It's full up, & the creatives are the welfare paid who call themselves artists & maybe, on a good day can make a candle with a candle making kit. Cheers
@@slydawwg if you dislike Nelson so much why don't you move to another place and those of us who want to come here will come and find out for ourselves what it is like..
I love this area very much. For me it is the best city in Canada
awesome!
I love this
I love Nelson 😍💖
Hi I lake Nelson too very beautiful and need to visit this place bye bye
Очень красивое место. Автор молодец. Удачи вам!
There's some good people there too but some really negative people around 6 mile and in Nelson . I think this town is cursed , so some say . Too bad its changed maybe it will change again , major hard drug problem like many towns and city's.
Wonderful ☺️💋
hey i'm thinking of moving to nelson b.c, can anyone tell me if they know a kenny mccormack?) ive been literally dying to meet him one day!
Too late, the last time he was dramatically angeled out , they seem to have decided not to bring him back ;) although, I'm sure he'll come out again in all his Kenny Glory. Cheers
what does it say about Nelson that it has the highest homeless rate?
>> Vacancy rate heres awful! always has been!
Climate is suitable???
Well, Nelson just today has become recognized as the worst city in British Columbia with 800 homeless out of a population of app. 10,000 ... It's a shame...
That is due to the hippie lifestyle, not every hippie wants to live in a house or apartment
@@pipebearbound wrong. It's due to foreign rich real estate fucks enjoying beautiful nelson but making housing nigh on impossible to find with no work but tourist catering.
Same reason I found Nelson to kinda gross. Fernie looks like a better option.
Recusant Rebel well get off your ass get a fucking job you get money by busting your god damn ass off to get money so you can move there your the type who just thinks that money just comes from sitting on your ass just cause you don’t get off your ass and have lots of money doesn’t mean you have to be angers at rich people
Recusant Rebel fuck off real estate is a perfect career and people live off of it your dissing a fucking career dick
Very nice
Please 🙏🥺
i live in downtown toronto currently and i want to move here sooooooo badly
You are sooooo much the problem.
@@slydawwg lol u good dude?
Cucksville, BC
please can anyone help me to immigrate to nelson . I love it 😍😍
It’s also know for stoners and hippy’s 😀
I live there lol
Alexis katherine Lol, that’s so funny!!!!!!!
Lol I can't stop laughing ,I thought I heard herd them all
Hi, what about the availability of part time job for students? Plenty of jobs available?
Two Masonic Freemason temples on baker. Centralized government's arm is long. Great place to view the chemtrails. Aside from that I've met the most wonderful people in Nelson and it is special.
Stop doing drugs.
yes, I agree, though these days you can view chem trails in 56 countries, and all NATO countries. I found arizona the best place to view them trials. I first noticed them there in 1998
Two? I know about the one, where is the other one?
It's all women. Misandry is in Nelson.
Wait for real? What's your experience and why? Like, specifically any straight up unfair treatment?
Also, what are some good sides? Thinking it might be nice.
@@Direblade11 I mean the biking club it's for women only. Bunch of man haters.
Hick nation
so its like a liberal haven. lol
please do not make it the second silicon valley.this place is awesome because of the less human population there man.the human there are the more urbanized and destroyed it will become.so please don't'let it be its own way.
Looks a town in dire need of conservatism
This place is just not for me.
Why?
Each time I hear about ''want to connect ''artists'' feel part of '' its everytime a bounch of BS. people are impersonal, cold and hypocrite like everywhere else.
Beautiful small town, but it is one of those places that looks like the perfect place to go to recruit AntiFa members.
I live in nelson
@@trix1544 What's it like? Kinda interested but have heard conflicting opinions.
I'm talking cost of living and things to do, also the people and culture.
I lived in Nelson for six plus years from 1988 to 1994. It was horrible. The people there were so rude and mean to me. The scenery is great but the people are very selfish and lacking in common societal traits and decency. If they can steal from you, they will. Worst place to live ever! Stay away from Nelson, BC and its over inflated prices all around.
Nelson is a bit of a joke on the big map of BC. It's comments & voice are given to the radical Liberals in all it's local Media & verbiage access. It's a combination of the old who move here & don't care about future prospects , as the young move out as there is no opportunity for a life, either through a jobless atmosphere or the ridiculous price of homes now which came about through the older & retired moving here. Still, there are many young & uneducated who come here as they gather together in various ways (government paid mostly). It use to be a city of unique comfort. Now it's just a mess of the retired &/or the panhandlers' , who of course are all artists ;) . PS : By the way, because of this, the overall crime is high, as are the Homeless, (highest in BC) --- Anyway, just some facts & considerations---- Cheers ")
Just like Victoria :(
Why do you not come out and say that Left-Wing People have been attracted to Nelson ever since the "Vietnam War Resistors" of the 1960's USA migrated there (legal at the time as Justin Trudeau's Father, Pierre, was Prime Minister out in Ottawa and gave them amnesty) and ever since this former Kootenay District Administrative Center has been a hotbed for the Left. I will be the first to admit that one of their major contributions was their support for the expansion of Provincial Parks in the region for which ALL British Columbians should be very proud, even mostly right-wingers like me, that way, BC's motto, Splendor Sine Occasu (Beauty Undiminished) will hold true forever, something that has been in great jeopardy when EXCESSIVELY resource-extraction / timber slash / mining gouge Right-Wing Gov'ts have been power in this province.
