Happy Sunday 🌤 Growing as a believer in Christ, I have learned so many things. I have learned humility, patience, wisdom, and forgiveness. I have learned that I must not and can not rely on my own abilities.(Proverbs 3-5:6 KJV) God and his Word is so much larger than us-and it takes a humbleness of spirit, to give up control to Him. For God alone lights our paths and leads our steps. (Psalm 37:23 KJV) Hebrews 11:6 KJV But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must first believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews is a letter with a strong exhortation. The author again and again points to the Hebrew believers so that they cling to believe in the New Covenant, given by Jesus Christ. They were tempted to return to their Old Covenant. The Chapter 11, the author tells the Hebrews of their ancestors' faith in an Old Covenant and all that they faced to achieve what was promised. However, he focuses them to see Jesus, who gave them a New Covenant and is the author who perfects faith... ...Let us fix our gaze on Jesus, because our faith comes from him and he is the one who perfects it... (Hebrews 12:2) 🖐🤓In this time 2022, we also lose focus. Sometimes we relate the situations we live, struggles, etc. with these people of faith that several lived according to the Old Covenant and they won according to their measure of faith. Today I understand that God only made a mold of his queen Esther, of his prophet Elijah, of Moses, of David, etc. They are a cloud of witnesses in this race of faith (12:1). You believe in Jesus Christ in your ♥️, so: ☝😁You are a unique mold of God's creation! 🏃♀️Walk according your measure of faith in Christ! (Rom. 12:3). Hebrews is a letter with a strong exhortation.
The author again and again points to the Hebrew believers so that they cling to believe in the New Covenant, given by Jesus Christ. They were tempted to return to their Old Covenant.
The Chapter 11, the author tells the Hebrews of their ancestors' faith in an Old Covenant and all that they faced to achieve what was promised. However, he focuses them to see Jesus, who gave them a New Covenant and is the author who perfects faith...
...Let us fix our gaze on Jesus, because our faith comes from him and he is the one who perfects it... (Hebrews 12:2)
🖐🤓In this time 2022, we also lose focus. Sometimes we relate the situations we live, struggles, etc. with these people of faith that several lived according to the Old Covenant and they won according to their measure of faith.
Today I understand that God only made a mold of his queen Esther, of his prophet Elijah, of Moses, of David, etc. They are a cloud of witnesses in this race of faith (12:1).
