Edit: It being the vomit, incase it wasn’t clear.
Cerenia it's an anti nausea medication, talk to a vet say that's what you want and that you'll monitor at home. Should be pretty easy, you might even be able to do it online
one of my cats started vomiting while still young, it wasnt fast eating or over eating, it was suspected to be a furball by the vet but it turned out to be way more serious. He vomits up anything solid bcuz he cant pass it down to the stomach, he would need surgery most likely, but we can afford it yet so for now, and its not even a guarantee that it would work so we feed him soaked dry food blended with wet food, until its completely smooth, and he eats it like a champ, he can also eat jello ( for example thee jello in cat food cans thats inbetween the meat bits). Either way i would see a vet just in case, especially if the vomiting is frequent
Separate the cats while eating, and either give him little bits at a time or use a slow feeder. Also, look for easy digestion/senior cat food to help with digestion :)
They also make slow feeders for animals who eat to fast
