I loved the way this was orchestrated. When the music intensifies, you can just picture the tenacity, and determination that all of those men went through on that tragic day on December 7, 1941. R.I.P To all of the men who died (To everyone, not just in Pearl Harbor but, in WW I and II and other wars)
Just to be clear, a sound effect is a sound recorded and presented to make a specific storytelling or creative point without the use of dialogue or music.
I get so irritated with people who hate on this movie for not "being historically accurate". Its a drama/romance people, not a documentary. I love it for what it is- a movie.
If they're going to make a premise out of a historical event, they should be as historically accurate as possible. It wouldn't detract from the story at all.
The movie was great for me. Yes, it is painful to see so many people die, but that is why we remember what war is like. War is always a painful and miserable to see. And now, I love the soundtrack.

Thanks for this track. Can you also publish the track when Doolittle decided to launch the attack? The film version is somewhat different from the CD's. Thanks!
@yankeecrazy9 What a pitty. Who had the stupid idea to include the sound effects? I mean, thats the point of bying a soundtrack. To get the music without the sound, right? Otherwise i could just watch the film. BTW, where can i get this expanded soundtrack? I have never seen it in stores. It is probably very rare
+Joseph Xu ok i will give you some of them, crimson tid. lion king. The Rock. The thin red line. Prince of egypt. tears of the sun. batman begins. days of thunder
The only good thing about this movie was the soundtrack! No accuracy, stupid story. It shouldn't be called Pearl Harbor, it should be called 'a love story that happened during Pearl Harbor.'

5:18 best part, part of the dogfight, where the P40 appears in front the and Zero behind, both making a curve
I believe those sound effects add to the emotion of the piece.
Just to be clear, a sound effect is a sound recorded and presented to make a specific storytelling or creative point without the use of dialogue or music.
P-40's!! After watching this I became obsessed with World War II and World War II airplanes :D
I cry ever time I listen to track 2, just so emotional and beautiful
7:12 + ... best part of the whole thing. AWESOME.
I freaking love the last part and the sound effects.
Listening to this while writing a Pearl Harbor story. I am RIGHT at the attack scene. PERFECT!
Why they left this off the original soundtrack is beyond me. One of the best pieces of music in the film.
I had this in my Walkman when kids were listening to Outcast I was listening to the pearl harbor sound track 😂😂 true story.
I bought the original soundtrack, and I felt robbed! So I don't feel the least bit guilty about stealing this music from here. ;)
7:15 from here best part

Micaela Sparks I know right! I cried enough to sink the Titanic. it was suppose to be a war drama, not a documentary.
Its called historical fiction
Thats a shame, the love story also sucked.

@@georgeofhamilton Blame Michael Bay who eats, thinks and shits: EEXPLOSIONS!
I have been looking for this everywhere!!!! THANK YOU
This is the right music while playing War Thunder.
Totally not using this at the moment for that exact reason...
Playing while using the p40 and nailed five planes down
Yeeppp...I did that today :3

Wow Thank you for submit this man!

You're not alone.

i really dont understand why the best musicof the movie isnt on the CD :(
Remember, remember,remember
I know this film wasn't accurate, the story could have been better, and then there was the love story but... I loved this movie lol...
2:40 best part
Can't we get a longer and extended epic ost?!
This has many parallels with James Horner's ''The sinking'' from the Titanic soundtrack. :D
yeah its a shame. think ur rite. thanks again for uploading. maybe they ran out of space on the CD LOL.
ill give the movie credit it had a great soundtrack
I wonder if the 3:08 mark somehow inspired the intro of the song "Why So Serious?"
Rafe: "how'd'ya like when someone's shootin back at ya?" *squeezes of some rounds*
"OHH I'm on your ass, now"
"attack" maybe? i dont really know havent been able to see the movie yet but based off sound track titles that seems the most likley
7:14 is where it's at
Red baron, pear harbor, top gun i like dogfight movies
oh how i loved it when the stupid romantic bull crap stopped and this started in the movie!
Lol yep xD but that's the nice thing about this movie..romantic+war good combination :D

6:21 GO LEFT NOW!!!
but the dogfights were awesome... at least to me, that kept me entertained and satisfied my axiety of planes shooting at each other.
near the end it sounds like the Pirates of the Caribbean score. probably because they're by the same composer
is there a version of "Courage" without the sounds of the planes?

Can you tell me how you filtered out the movie sound effects so you can only hear the music?
True MVP of this movie was Hans Zimmer ❤

This kind of reminds me of final fantasy 8.

Glenn its the same composer who composed Titanic,Braveheart,The last samurai ,and more...
Titanic was James Horner, not Hans Zimmer
great music bad movie
Hans Zimmer: the only good thing about this movie.
I respect Japanese people
As do I but back then they were scumbags. Not even because of Pearl Harbor. Look up Unit 731 or Nanking.
Ironically 9 minutes and 11 seconds long
Go watch the document about Pearl Harbor if you want hystorical accuracy without "stupid story"
bestes ab 7:10
hans zimmer didn't do his best in this movie. am feeling like am listening to another composer!
+Joseph Xu I just didn't like the score Exept some tracks but interstellar was his worst score
+Joseph Xu he could do much better than that!
+Joseph Xu anyway, hans zimmer old scores is much better than his new

All movie composers recycle their work over and over
Watch Dunkirk to experience a real dog fight, not this childish garbage.
Thats your opinion. Yes, dunkirk is more real. Yes, its great. No, in my opinion Pearl Harbor is better in action scenes
