Actually imam Malik use to do Sadl (let his arm untied and free on the side) because ahlu madinah use to pray in that way so he found that the actions of ahlul madinah were afdhal then narrations that were written on paper

imam syafi'i founder of the mazhad syafi'i, which is the mazhad of jurisprudence in sunni which has many followers. imam syafi'i is the only mazhad imam from the Quraysh lineage whose lineage is connected to the Prophet SAW through 'Abdul Manaf
at the same time an expert in jurisprudence in Medina whose full name is Shafi'i imam is Muhammad Bin Idris Bin Usman Bin Syaafi Bin Ubaid Bin Abdu Yazid Bin Hassyim Bin Abdul Mutthalib Bin Abdul Manaf. until at the age of 7 years, imam shafi'i completed the memorization smoothly, after completing the memorization of al quran he continued memorizing various types of Arabic poems, and the book Al mutwattha' written by imam malik. in 163 H. imam shafi' i went to madinah munnawarrah to study under imam malik, he was one of the scholars of hadith who died in 179 H at that time imam shafi'i was 13 years old imam shafi'i did not leave madinah until the death of imam malik, when he was 15 years old he got recommendation from his teacher Muslim bin Khalid to give in religious matters.

How u mixed the imam malik and shafayee period at same time same khalifa lack of knowledge or wrong knowledge
Abdallah ibn zubayr the grandson of abu bakr radhiAllahu Abhi prayed with his hands on his sides and he got that from ata who took it from abu bakr radhiAllahu Abhi himself. Ibrahim al nakhai, has an al basri, ibn jurayj, Mohammed ibn dinar, and the people of marina prayed in sadl. In matter of fact the reason imam Malik rahimahuallah disliked qabd was because people used to pray that was in order to support themselves. So if imam Malik was hurt he would have prayed in qabd to support himself. The mudawwana of ibn sahnoun has imam malik's reasoning as to why he prayed in sadl
I am a shafie and I listened to what happened the ulama have said the only imam who said no was imam AHMED IBN HANBAL brothers don't say things you don't know don't be like the shias saying anything without dalil our four imams were human beings don't try to make them in to demi gods we follow the sunnah of the prophet if imam shafie sunnah is weak and the one imam Malik has a stronger sanad then we follow imam Malik fatwa and vice versa for all the imams we just don't t follow one imam but the stronger hadith because all the imams are human they can make a mistake so be careful to enter such talk without elim be very very careful
Ahmed Ali atleast we need to study their views because they are nearest and closer time to our beloved prophet peace and blessing be upon him. They are knowledgable than us now a days. 4 imams memorize the whole noble Qur-an with tafsir. And they studied hadiths with the sanad. Even imam Al bukhari the great muhadiths was a following imam Shafi'e. We know why? May Allahu ta'ala enlighten us Ameen. The 4 madhab expanded the hadiths of our beloved prophet peace and blessings be upon him and they follow sunnah in giving their views. Allah knows best. Love you all
Habibi you are incorrect.. who says these imams were wrong? And who says there is only one correct answer? Didn't prophet saw on occasions tell his companions when they broke up to dispute that they are both correct.. these imams are not like the imams of these days so hold your tongue my brother.. these imams are the salaf usalaheen.. the greatest in generation.. traditional islam fela you to follow one imam then why would you pick and choose what you believe or your teacher bealvers more authentic.. all the great ulama ALL of them followed one madhab out of the four.. wa allahu alam

While Imam Malik(Ra) was called by Mamun,Imam Malik(Ra) made dua that Allah (swt) saves him from meeting Mamun and Mamun Died before he meets(for fitna) Imam Malik(Ra)...And Mu'tasim took over in Mamun's place........Could u plz clarify whether Imam Malik(Ra) was punished by Mamun?? And if itz then when??? Coz he died......before Imam Malik(Ra) were summoned.... Jazakallah Khair
Assalamu-Alaikum,
While each of the Imam's went through their own tests and trials, the specific scenario you are referencing happened to Imam Ahmed. Ma'mun ordered Imam Ahmed to be captured and the guards beat him, spat on him and chained him in a humiliating manner. And it was during the journey to Ma'mun that Imam Ahmed made the Dua'a that they do not see each other's face and that night Ma'mun died.

All he known imams at that time saved themselves by agreeing but in their hearts they knew that Koran was not makhluug except for imam AHMED IBN HANBAL that is why they call him imam el sunnah wal jamaa
What the hell are you smoking? I'm hanbali and All of the 4 imams said no. The reason Imam Ahmed was punished more was because Imam Ahmed lived in Baghdad where the severe fitnah was happening. And when this was happening to Imam Ahmed, Imam Malik and Imam Abu hanifa were not alive but Imam shafi was alive but he didn't see the fitnah that much because he was living in Egypt.
It's sane to even think that a talk of wisdom and knowledge needs music to attract people and make them listen till the end of talk. How weak and miserable? We need shaytan' stool to spread the word of Rahman! Why can't we trust our capabilities ? I believe, we lack sincerity.
