Thanks for such a wonderful video. 'Speed' is a very relative word. It is difficult to ascertain 'Slow' until the child is very slow. So, kindly, can u tell me the standard writing speed for a 7-year-old child (in words /minute or letter/minute). Have a nice day....
Yes, it's a relative word. Although in the video I haven't mentioned about it I meant about the average writing speed for a 7-15 year-old. There have been various studies and as per them, the average writing speed is 68-70 letters per minute. This is the text copying speed. Thanks

Thank you Ma'am for the useful tips.... request you to kindly advise how to make study schedule of various subjects of lkg kid alongwith fine motor activities coz my 4.4yr child is unattentive, doesn't want to write with pencils and is having issues with spatial understanding...He also cannot do activities independently.....i don't understand how to plan the routine to be able to cover all topics... kindly make a sample one as u would probably with your daughter..... thanks a ton for your help which I'm sure you will... lots of love and stay blessed
Regarding the study schedule, actually, I don't have a dedicated study schedule for my daughter. My daughter is a kinesthetic learner. She also doesn't like to sit and do worksheets for a long period of time. So, I try to teach her the concepts whenever possible like while playing, when I am doing household chores etc. Same goes with the fine motor skills activities. For example, yesterday I was baking a cake and I asked her to mix the batter(which involves the use of hands and fingers). Similarly, I ask her to peel peas, soaked almonds, fold clothes, ask her to help me knead the dough etc. But yes one definite thing I do with her is to make her sit for study every day at the same time(11:30-12:00 or 12:15). This programs her that she has to sit and do worksheets or reading and she has no choice. It took me 3-4 days to program her but now she is ok with it. As I always say consistency and patience is the key with kids. Try to give him the most simple activities and let him on his own. Even of he is doing it wrong it's ok. Once he is confident enough then he will do them correctly. Go with your kid's pace and you will definitely get to know how will you cover the syllabus. Will try to make a video on it. Thanks

You mentioned that kids like competition, but my kid is not happy to do it. If I put this condition, he is upset. The second thing is he gets lost while writing, just sits at one place and stops writing. Then I need to remind him again and again that he has to write. How do I encourage him?
