Hello Vera! I’m on the fence concerning this law… on the one hand I see a possible necessity, but on the other hand, the government has suddenly criminalized formerly legal activity/ citizen. But the larger picture that you offered of the police further harassing the citizenry begs to ask whether this time could better be used to make the lives of the citizenry better by improved roads and water infrastructure (isn’t some dam supposed to have been completed nearby?), expressways, etc. as you suggested. Projects that benefit everyone both pull the community together and help vote back in those leaders with a long-term vision. They must stop viewing their constituency as an adversary and instead be their public servants. Great discussion, as always, Vera😊…
