What I love is I still see people go Orisa when there losing and then they just lose faster it’s great 😂

My theory is that (even before the nerfs) her win rate was low because shitters would swap to her when already loosing

i actually dont mind the slow down on fortify, it even adds to the hero fantasy aspect of her locking herself down to become an immovable object.

I know y'all are Rein mains. but I genuinely like Orisa (and still do after this patch). It feels good to use your cooldowns in smart ways, and aiming her shots is genuinely satisfying.

@@hobosorcerershe can be fun, but her kit is generally pretty unfun to play against (especially on tank), combine that with the fact that she’s been overturned and hard meta for a good while? It’s not a surprise people hate her lol.

I will say, as an Orisa player that picked her up because I mainly find her cute (the prance emote, the puppy emote, her laugh emote I mean come on), this nerf is very much welcome. Getting God cycled by the enemy Orisa was extremely frustrating. Feels like every time they got their cooldowns with some convenient timing, which was usually right when they were about to die, so they can back up, get double pocketed, and proceed to NEVER. DIE. At least now there’s a much higher chance to kill Robot Horse Mom even WITH double pocket.
Going echo so copy will disable Orisa’s ability to switch characters is also diabolical

The problem with balancing in games is they nerf the "broken" characters, instead of buffing weak ones
Okay, hear me out. Tanks have their main sustain/survival ability nerfed so that the cooldown is longer but the cooldown is reduced by doing damage. This would be the simplified version but I think it would incentivize active tank gameplay
Nah, that would incentive pure tank v tank matchups like muaga and that's awful
@@dr.chimpanz.1324 hmmm, I see your point. In all honesty, I feel like a huge part of that is because tanks have terrible primary fire though, the only thing they can reliably hit IS other tanks. I've always hated how every tank either has too much spread or too slow of a projectile to go for headshots on squishies past like 5-10m
Did they buff doom or no. Because Orisa is my favorite because of all her utilities, I LOVE doom for his movement as a tank, I need a reason to enjoy the game, all I want
I am an Orisa player, will still play her, but I switch off her when shit isn't working which will happen more often now.

Orisa is still broken imo. I got 17k dmg, 31, 5, 0 in QP and I don't even play tank. It was a ten minute game and our highest stat dps had 15, 0, 4 with 8 k damage. I suck at tank. I have 10 hours total on tank and I've played orisa for 8 games. That being said, it is QP. We lost 😭
You know what we need. Reverse the buff that made it so she cant take mauga crits in fortify. Then all orisa players will leave
plat players will STILL scream at their tank to swap to Orisa, no matter how many nerfs

I know in lower ratings, I been testing out win rates vs her, and it's almost 0%. I'm so glad they nerfed her, she could even use a slight more nerf. Literally went from gold to bronze testing this out.
They better keep these nerfs god dammit
