Why did they show a video of the 15 promax with the Sim card hole so that it actually has a spot for a Sim card? That’s pretty ignorant, showing incorrect information. I came to UA-cam to ask a question and this is the answer that they give me so I take my case off of my phone which I have a OtterBox case and it’s not easy to undo it and take it out. So I get it off my phone turn my phone to the sides and look for the whole like this stupid video says and does not not there.. Now what now what ?????

I was trying to swap it into an old android so I could tether it to my laptop and not have to use a hotspot because Verizon sells an unlimited plan, they just don’t tell you outright that it has a 25GB limit so aggravating. No matter through WiFi, Bluetooth or even the wire. Anyone know any good workarounds for sharing your cell network with a laptop that DOESNT use hotspot???
Correct, iPhone 15’s in the US only have eSIMs. Outside of the US they come with physical dual Sims. And the iPhone in this video is definitely not an iPhone 15. Looks like an iPhone 13, which was the last model to have a SIM tray in the US.
to be honest I don't know why it wouldn't be there. I also don't know if mine has it either. I don't have access to a sim card ejection tool right now to check. Best bet if you are worried is to call Apple.

If your iPhone 15 was purchased in the US it won’t have a SIM tray / card. It uses an eSIM. The phone he’s using in the example above is not an iPhone 15. New iPhones are made from Titanium and that’s not Titanium. Looks like an iPhone 13, which was the last model to have a SIM tray in the US.

Only iPhones built for USA don’t have physical SIM cards. The rest of the world still uses physical SIM.

This process will not work for the iPhone 15 Pro as it does not have a sim card tray.

If you have an iPhone 15, 15 Plus/Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max built for the United States, they do not have SIM card slots anymore. You would use eSIM.
