Sadly these hub motors don't perform well in hilly areas where the roads are always up and down(munbai, goa etc). It will be great on flat places like Delhi, gujarat, Hyderabad etc.

I put my e cycle to the lowest gear and pedal during inclines on by Emotorad Emx model for best performance.
