Consultancies have already been using a loophole. They open a new sister company without crossing 50 employees 🙄
Put smoke and wait to see how many companies are not able to cough up fees and let go H1 and L1 employees. A lot of people are in perception that their jobs are permanent, and a day of reckoning will come when many will regret making huge investments in America, unfortunately.
You could say that for any job, not just H1 and L1. If any job comes with a regulatory burden of ~$40-50k, many jobs would stop existing. If they keep this up, only silicon valley people will get hired on H1B, the other jobs will be filled by less than capable people.
