@@davesalter that's very good to know. I was wondering if it was that. If just using straight pvc instead of the overlay one, is it still necessary? Also, how are the soffits usually attached to the wall? And how do you join the soffit and the fascia?
Why do you leave a gap between boards?
@@jamienash5263 for expansion allowance, a joiner piece covers the gap

What’s the best upvc gutter.
@@hardythingh4510 anything but free flow I reckon
@@davesalter I was thinking of freeflow ogee. But will see about floppas instead thanks 🙏
Didn’t you order enough gutter brackets…600 mm apart pal
@@ryan2387 where did you get 600mm apart from? It’s max 1000mm actually, and I usually have 5/6 on a 4m length so it’s less than that.
No not at all you’ve 1200 apart….get that gutter full of snow and it’s off pal….
And you’ve cladded over old timber soffit no vents or over fascia vents
@@ryan2387 did you measure it? 😂 utter rubbish.
@@ryan2387 I didn’t do the soffit, just replaced fascia and gutter.
