Well, damn. Diesel 10 commands respect! Liked seeing everyone suddenly fall in line when he came to help and nice to see James actually talk Diesel 10 into helping.
A wholesome finale to these amazing shorts of this rewrite! I really love the epilogue scene most of all, especially with Thomas' honorable deed for Emily.
I love the new Arc of James as it adds more dynamic to his character. Thomas has a good one and it adds another layer to his already developed arc. I also love the portrayal of Emily as that motherly character really warms my heart every time, I think of her.
The ending with Thomas and James feels so mature, it really feels like a true end to the classic series and the start of a new era of Thomas. But man, you’re take of Calling All Engines should be a full length story and this take on the special is just fantastic, absolutely fantastic!
Erm actually, Thomas was built in 1915 not 1914 🤓👆. Jokes aside this was very well done. Thomas and James' conversation at the end was very heartwarming. Great stuff.
Just found this video right now, and I wasn’t expecting much . . . But wow, this was marvelous! The deep philosophical side in the epilogue really got me. I love the arc of James with diesel in the beginning as well, and it is one of the only times I’ve sincerely enjoyed James’ diesel arc!
While I perfer Diesel 10 to remain evil (And I would replace his role in CAE with another diesel), I gonna say that he was handled nicely here! This really had a lot of wholesome moments here.😌 Well done, mate! And Merry Christmas!🎄
Am I the only one who teared 😢a little by that ending absolutely fantastic I wish we had a full movie but this was just as good keep up the good work luke
I've seen your remake from start to finish and you managed to turn a bad special into one fantastic story arc. Happy Holidays and carry on with your works.
Last hurrah is definitely the perfect word for this. A rather perfect way to end 2023 it’s definitely stuff like this that makes me proud to be a long term fan of the engines of the north western railway.
"Keep carrying on to make people smile" That's something we can all live by. I had a longe speech but it was deleted before I could post it but I'll say this. Thank you for this. I've been going through a rough path lately and 2023 has been quite the ride with both it's ups and downs but this has reminded me of when I was a kid and I know, somewhere in an alternate universe little me is enjoying this brilliant version of CAE on holiday guilt free. Thomas's speech reminds us to keep going and even though it won't be forever we can still enjoy the time we have together. Heres to 2024 and hoping for a brighter future. Continue making this brilliant content.
I enjoy every second of these shorts!!! I will absolutely do a remake of these adaptations once my Customs are already and make all the characters!! Merry Christmas Luke!
This short right here brings me joy. Seeing all the engines working together goes hard. I love Diesel 10’s snappy but still willing to help. This is the Diesel 10 I want to see more of, and it’s the one I write in my series. Thanks for speaking my language. I love George’s comment too. Lovely series all around.
Do you like the Diesel 10 who is a great evil diesel villain mostly? Some fans and I prefer not to see more of willing to help because it doesn't suit his character. I don't expect you to agree but a understanding would be nice.
Luke that's was amazing this is my favourite re Short of your version liked your voice your usage of everyone whistle you are amazing and to my answer l told about season 2 what do think can you give more positive things for season 2 and 3 and 5
It took me a few days to get to this ending cause I wasn't ready for it. Plus the holidays were crazy. This was beautiful. I almost had tears in my eyes during the epliogue with James & Thomas. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Luke.
Merry Christmass, two questions: Did you get inspired by Trampy Movies to make this Beautiful Masterpiece? Plus I love James Red-Emption, why instead of just shorts, why don't you make the Hole CALING ALL ENGINES REIMAGINATED into a hole movie?
Please some help I’ve been held captive in Luke’s basement for sixty-nine days there’s no sunlight and I’m being forced to make photoshops while Day of the Diesels plays on loop in the background please if you hear this send help-
@@usualblokeluke I respect your decision, but I prefer if all of the main characters get a part of the sheds. Duck, Donald, Douglas, and Oliver are considered main characters because STH gave them a number. If STH gives an engine a number it means they're of a certain untouchable status: they're a main character.
@@karenfan010 BoCo is still on Sodor as are other Sodor characters not on the steam team, I just didn't want to force him into a story they wouldn't add anything substantial to. Rather use his meeting with James as a moment James reflects on his bad behaviour towards all diesels, even the nice ones. Splodge were banished to the shadow realm because D10 didn't have time to say both names.
Someone a while ago (I can't remember who) suggested using Thomas to get George instead. That way both characters feel like they contribute in big ways to mend the runway to amend their diesel prejudice.
Okay…wow. If calling all engines has been the big celebration it should’ve been, I think these videos you’ve made could’ve worked beautifully. Well done!
I like that Bert called Arry “bruv”, shows that they really care for each other.

It really feels like James is the main character of this version of Calling All Engines.
I do like Thomas’ speech and how he and James both humbly admit their mistakes.
I laughed so hard when diesel 10 simply said "ehh sure they earned it" then he joins in with his horn that was so funny
I like that little speech Thomas gives at the end. I do wish they had someone like that in the special or the show for that matter.

Yes, this is more of a Grownup Version of This special. I love it.
Remember the Smelters Scene we got earlier?
This is that on a whole other level of awesome
WHAT AN ENDING! Thanks So much mate! Now we all tackle the part where the full movie gets written and realeased!
8:40 Honestly the funniest line I’ve ever heard from George.
That apology scene with james, arey, bert, and diesel reminds me of the Little Westerner.

In the words of Rapunzel.
That’s when my life begins.
Noice. I’ll bet there’ll be a movie, a cavalcade, a collection of all those scenes put together. You have done well.
It’s A Good Thing to See James working With Diesel 10 and The Diesels and Steamies working together to save the airport

Yo this was pretty awesome. The shot of Deisel 10 smiling will never not be strange to me.
What a finale, amusing to hear Diesel 10 with his Magic Railroad New Jersey accent. Merry Christmas Luke.

I have an alternative title for this rewrite. Rusty red racism
A movie mainly focusing on James?
Noice!
I would love to see a full movie on this.
I know I’m one month late but I can confidently say that I love this version of Calling All Engines more! 😊
What a way to end these re-shorts with a bang! It was absolutely incredible! I've loved each and every one of these re-shorts
A wonderful end to an amazing re-shorts series, keep up the fantastic work mate!

Amazing finale Luke! Merry Christmas!

I can't wait for this and Merry Christmas and happy new year
Imagine this with the voices from Thomas & The Magic Railroad
Awesome Work and Merry Christmas!!
This was great, loved the end
A very satisfying end to this short series. Very well done on this man. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Genius dude, l absolutely love this!
